he suffers from eceama but it is not very bad.he has these brownish scaly flakes(well, they dont flake off the scalp, just stick there unless picked at.which i dont do of course!)he dosnt scratch at it like he does his arms and legs.the doctor gave me t-gel shampoo which did nothing and now i have been given anti-fungal shampoo, the sort you use for ring worm.the doc said she didnt think it was a fungal infection but that the shampoo was good for other things.but it has had no effect.does anyone have any idea what it is?he starts school soon and i would like it to be gone before he starts.thanks.

My daughter had this up until the first grade, she was mad as heck when mom rubbed in Vaseline real thick and made her go for a couple of days like this. She hen sat her down and combed it all out, it became very loose. Washed it real good after this and it disappeared on it's own.
