I have had tons of blackheads covering my nose and just under it, on my chin and between my eyebrows since I was 13.. I am now 21, and they are ALL still there. I have gone to the doc and gotten prescription cream which did nothing after an entire year, I've used Proactiv, Acne-Free, Biore pore strips, Clearasil blackhead pads, all different kinds of cleansers, astringents, creams, pads, etc.. I wash my face morning and night and use oil-absorbing sheets for my oily face.. when I wear make-up, I use non-pore-clogging products only and make sure it's all off at night. I've used all sorts of peels and masks, and boiled water to "steam" my face for 15 minutes to loosen the dirt... NOTHING budges these buggers! I've even squeezed them and the dirt comes out, but it's right back in there the next day, and I can still see the spot even after I squeeze it. Many of the things I've mentioned keep me from getting pimples but these blackheads are UGLY!

Hi,
I feel your pain. It's really not your fault that you are in the predicament you've been in, because you keep getting bad information.

After eight years and using a ton of 'skin in" solutions to no avail, it might be time to take a different approach.

There might be approaches to remove the blackheads, but if they keep coming back, you're merely playing defense.

The real problem starts two feet from your face, in the gut. The gut is where the headquarters of acne/blackhead production resides.

A variety of medications, such as antibiotics, are the real culprit....even if the only antibiotics you've ever taken was when you were a small child...and you didn't have much choice about that.

Many medications kill the friendly bacteria in your body that protects your skin from pimples and blackheads...allowing yeast to flourish. When this happens the yeast transforms and sprouts roots...roots that poke holes in the intestinal lining.

This allows poorly digested food particles to pass through, messing up your body with many possible problems which could include allergies, sinus problems, acne, etc.

Okay, now you know the cause. So what's the solution?

1- Restock your body with friendly bacteria. You'll need something broad spectrum if you want this to work. So I'd get either PB-8 or Dr. Ohiras probiotic and start taking double doses.

Please notice I didn't say to eat yogurt or to get some cheap acidophilus. Those might work if you had no skin problem and wanted to prevent one. But you need to reverse one.

2- Olive leaf extract or Candistroy to wipe out the bad yeast.

3- To patch the holes made by the yeast, I'd either take glutamine (5 grams 2x a day) or even better IntestiNew. Until the holes are patched, poorly digested food particles can continue to wreak havoc with your skin.

4- I would take a good multi-enzyme (different from a multi vitamin) to take the stress off of my digestive tract, so that it can heal faster.

If you do those four things, you'll feel a world of difference in a month.

While you're waiting for this to work, do a yahoo/google search for true home remedies to help the get rid of the blackheads you have now. Tea tree lotion applied daily might help.

Good luck to you, and be well.

Kelley

Go to a beautician and do facial regularly. Or you can consider moving. May be your environment is too polluted and it makes it worste.
