My boyfriend had a chest xray for a routine physical. They found a 1cm growth on his clavicle/rib. He is 22, non-smoker, very healthy. What could this be? Should I be worried? The doctors ordered another chest xray.

First she's been to her doctor, and they are running test. This is whats going on today her blood pressure was 158/107 which its been higher, and her pulse was 132. She's in alot of pain now, which is not normal for her. Its in her lower back and she went to the hospital, they gave her darvaset and she's gone through almost the whole prescription already because of the pain. They just found out that her thyroid levels are at 100 something when they should be at 40 and so they are going to start her on synthroid. She's on cardizam, and that was just recently raised, and they've also put her on another pill for blood pressure, but that was a week ago and its not coming down. You can see it in her face, how bad she's feeling. I'm worried alot about her, if they're are any doctors that might have an idea of what she might be going through, please let me know, so she can get control over her BP and pulse.
Other information, she does have diabetes, but its only reaching a high of maybe 158

I cannot tilt my head upside down without head pressure. Sometimes when I stand up, I have head pressure. When it's really bad, I see colors for a few seconds and if it's really really bad, my vision goes black. I have not fainted from this, but I have come close.
My ears also feel funny (more pressure) when I have this. I also have some stuffy sinus issues that go along with it.
I have motion sickness (in cars). But have never actually gotten sick from it. I can't go on swings because of the motion either.
I don't think I have vertigo but I think it's something similar to it. My mom also has some of the same issues. I plan to go to a specialest this summer. Does anyone know what this could be?

We are both in our 40s and we have both been eating it all of our lives. Suddenly we both developed sever alergies to crustacians (like shrimp and crab) within weeks of each other. We both have our own wells but that's about the only thing we share. Could this be just coincidence??? Please no silly answers. Doctors and those with experiance only please.

I dont know if its from that, or just anxiety but it seems to happen right after I take my pain killers. Hyrdocodene 750mg and I take percocet sometimes. Its probally my anxiety right? If anything I would think it would acually releive anxiety since it slows down your central nervous system like xanax. I have xanax too but I dont want interactions to happen and all that.

I was diagnosed with IC about 3 months ago. my doctor has given me
elmiron and told me to stay on a strict IC diet. I am having trouble
because I have lost 12 pounds and continue losing. I dont know what
to eat anymore. i cannot find hardly any recipes (even IC specific
recipes) that stick to the diet. also my whole family has a milk
allergy so that makes it more difficult. I feel weak and tired all
the time. I'm told to avoid foods high in potassium, but what counts
as high in potassium? right now i'm really not getting any. what
about vitamin c, none of that either, ive heard ester c may be
tolerated ? also vitamin b, is it ok to have the individual b's and
not the complex?
I am so weak and tired all the time because of this diet. I hardly
eat anything. plus with taking the elmiron you have to wait 2 hours
after you eat to take it and then after you take it you have to wait 1
hour to eat, sot that pretty much leaves out snacking on anything,
also if you factor in that i am a stay at home mom with two very
active little ones (both under 3) there isnt much time to eat anyway.
I would appreciate any information you could give me. thank yo so
much for your time.

I have been dating my girlfriend for over a year and she has herpes. i am scared of getting it too. I take a few preventative measures. I will not have sex without a condom, if she feels even the slightest itch, or within three days of her last sore healing. she takes valtrex. what more can I do? should I take valtrex also? Are there any supplements that may help from getting it?

My wife is 29 years old and the doctor said they heard a systolic murmur when they listened to her heart. She is getting an echocardiogram on Friday.

She was under extreme stress at the time they listened due to the other procedures taking place in this visit. She has never had any heart problems.

Could extreme stress cause a heart murmer?

Could it make an existing murmur more pronounced so that it gets detected?

How can I avoid worrying myself into the grave between today and Friday?

Hi there. My nose is so congested and it's annoying. It's so clogged up and I can't even INHALE. I've taken Benedryle (sp?) for allergies and colds, and it doesn't work- I took it this morning and went to sleep hoping that it would cure me, but it didn't!!!

I recently asked a very valid question about my cholesterol level and I got some wacked out answers. Why am I getting insulted over a question. My question was, how low is too low for cholesterol levels, and some guy is trying to tell me to cut all fat from my diet. I did that, and now my cholesterol is below 100, did he even read my question? Is that too low? There is evidence that low cholesterol can bring on depression and anxiety. So how can I bring my cholesterol up, WITHOUT binging on processed, fatty foods? Seems like a totally reasonable question.

Recently, I have been having what seems like a movement disorder. I move my fingers and toes in patterns constantly, I grind my teeth in my sleep, I have a persistent cough, i have a "travelling" itch, my mood is almost never stable, and I have been having a lot of migraine headaches. The coughing has been so bad that it causes me to vomit sometimes. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? All my doctors say that it is not caused by medication. They are not sure what it is.
