Yes, addiction is one, if used too much and you'll be tired and listless all day, you could fall asleep driving if you drive at all,and impaired thought processing. Use DayQuil if you must take something during the day.

You shouldn't use it during the day unless you plan on staying home. Never mix alcohol and antihistamines and try to drive/work. Bad idea.
