I cut my index finger this morning and have since taken the bandage off. It looks a little raised at the edges where the skin is coming together. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Depending on the depth of the cut it is.

This is normal. When tissue is injured, it can swell and look red. It is the body's way of protecting itself from invading bacteria. The swelling should go away in the next 48 to 72 hours. If it doesn't and you begin to have other symptoms, you may have a wound infection and should have a doctor look at it. Signs of a wound infection include: worsening redness (bright red with the area getting larger), increasing pain or tenderness, warm skin and purulent looking (like pus) drainage. Keep it clean and covered until the edges have healed together.

sounds perfectly normal, your skin will normally have a little swelling around the area when it is healing. If it is hot or very red or if there's an usual amount of pain it could be infected but I wouldn't worry about the edges being raised.

If it has stopped bleeding and is not hurting, it should be fine.
