Hi there. My nose is so congested and it's annoying. It's so clogged up and I can't even INHALE. I've taken Benedryle (sp?) for allergies and colds, and it doesn't work- I took it this morning and went to sleep hoping that it would cure me, but it didn't!!!
Does anyone know how I can get rid of this? I'm missing school and I'm missing the State testing!

I'm telling you, the best thing is to stop eating dairy. Stop eating it and your congestion will clear up. Also try Clariton.

well, over the short term, most otc nasal sprays will open up your nose. Don't use it longer than three days or you get a rebound effect and the congestion will be worse than when you started. Over the long term, talk to your doctor about Nasonex or Flonase, prescription steroid sprays to keep your nasal mucousa from reacting to the allergens you are exposed to.

My doctor told me to buy sea salt and squirt it up my nose a few times a day. It doesn't completely take it away, but certainly helps a lot. You can purchase at local drug store, good luck.

I use Rhinocourt (nasal spray) and actually just was at Walgreen's refilling my prescription. It seems pretty mild but I really like it and have used it for years.
As far as OTC, I like Claritin......

Go to the store and by some Afrin nasal spray.
