The other evening, I was standing on my front porch, and every time I blinked, I noticed this little tiny pin hole sized light, or white dot darting in whatever direction I moved my eye. At first I thought it was something on my bangs that was dangling very close to my eye, but discovered it was actually something to do with my eye , not my hair. It doesn't hurt, nor does it blurr my vision, but in a way I have a sensation of something in my eye, but can't see it. A few years ago I suffered a nasty abrasion on my eye, but it healed up nicely, and there were no further symptoms . What is causing that little dot like light

My wife has had her left lung removed for bronciogenic carcinoma at the left hilum. it is now 9mths post opp and she has a persistent cough since, antibiotics cleared the cough up for a few days then it would come back. She has had radiation treatment and the cough has been worse since, she is at present on antibiotics which have no effect at all, she sees her GP next week but wont see her oncologist until Dec,,,, a CT scan showed an area of irritation about halway down the remaining lung. Apart from the cough she copes very well with the reduced lung capacity and can walk around quite normally without getting really short of breath ! Any helpful comments or advice would be appreciated while she waits to see the specialist !!

I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia (but not diabetes) about 2 years ago. I usually get the typical symptoms when my blood sugar starts to drop - shaking, dizziness, hunger, irritability. Lately, I've been getting sick after eating dinner (nausea, stomachache, a washed out feeling) for about an hour, then I feel terrific. It doesn't happen at lunch or at my 10:00 pm snack. Are these normal symptoms of hypoglycemia? Also, my sugar starts to drop in the middle of the night, which it never did before. About 2 weeks ago, a friend and I had a major fight, which of course caused a lot of stress. Is it possible that this is responsible for my sugar being out of whack? Usually, when I'm having a spell, my sugar runs about 40, and my normal reading is around 70. My dr. didn't give me a diet to follow or anything, she just told me to always carry glucose tablets. Any advice on how to manage this better will be appreciated. Thanks.

my grandaugther was diagnosed with MRSA yesterday. We spend alot of time with her. She had boils several times, in the last year or so and they cultured this one and found she had MRSA. My daughter has had eczema for the last few months and have been finding nothing that is working. it is really red and inflamed. could this be a sign of MRSA?

I just recently had an endoscopy, they found several developing ulcers and one big one, I was a little woozy from the anesthesia at the time so I can't remember everything the doc said but he gave me the still shots from the procedure and pointed out several issues. I have one large ulcer (about the size of a nickel) and several small developing ulcers, the large one has obviously bled in the past. He also pointed out areas of patchy growth on my lower esophagus which is a condition known as Barrets Esophagus. I guess what I want to know is what exactly are the possible causes and consequenses of these issues and how much of a threat to my health, and ultimately, my life are they? I am especially curious about the Barrets. I know very little about it. The doctor put me on a medication called Zegerid and told me to quit smoking and change my diet. I have been suffering for a long time now from these things and am actually happy to finally know whats causing my pain.
