No. In terms of new cases, lung cancer is the
third most common form of cancer, behind
breast and prostate cancers. But in terms
of deaths, lung cancer kills the most people
by far – more than breast, colon, pancreas
and prostate cancer combined. And
because Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana have
some of the nation's highest smoking
rates, lung cancer incidence and deaths
in this region remain higher than national
average.
Lung cancer

They let this get out of hand. They're just scared. Chemo shouldn't be a cake stroll. When they began to cringe, they must have had a greater help approach. Now not all hospitals are the equal, nor medical professionals. I've visible some make you feel your an fool just for asking questions. Then we had some distinguished ones at Johns Hopkins who also had a giant aid approach. The choice desires to be the family's but with all of the tips. In some cases chemo is extra detrimental than the melanoma. It is a case via case resolution. Hodgkins has a just right response fee. Others do not and there's no chemo that is one hundred% secure. The numbers are in the youngsters favor although if he takes it. Within the UK they assign an advocate first, before it goes this some distance. In some cases they have allowed the children to stop chemo. We do ought to overhaul how cancer patients often are treated. There may be the sort of rush to medication without giving those concerned time to take it all in, cure anything it is, is exceptional if all events have full confidence within the method. Truth speakme, this chemo has less the chance to work if the youngster and guardian's aren't confident in the method. That's what will get you through the very unwell days of chemo.

I would define the worst time of cancer as the one with the highest mortality rate versus the rate of incidence. For example, prostate cancer has a very high rate of incidence in men over a certain age (>30% of all cancers in the USA). However, there is a very low mortality rate due to prostate cancer (<10%). This means that if you get prostate cancer chances are you can be cured, depending on the stage of course.

The other side of the coin is a cancer with a high incidence rate and a high mortality rate as in the case of lung cancer. Meaning if you get lung cancer odds are against you in terms of survival.

If I had to choose I would have say that lung cancer is the worst cause it has a very high incidence rate and a high mortality rate. By comparison some of the other more aggressive cancers like pancreas or stomach, which have high rate of mortality, are not as high as lung cancer in terms of incidence.

I personally think the worst cancers are the ones with no warning but carry a high mortality rate. Cancers like lung cancer, often no symptoms, or ovarian cancer often mimics stomach problems until it is too late, or breast cancer, often found too late for a cure.

it is hard to say which is the worst cancer but as far as someone knowing you have cancer, i would say that head and neck cancer is the worst. the reason is that sometimes it involves removing of jaw bone or having a hole in your neck called a stoma in which to breath out of. sometimes they have to remove your palate or tongue, and the smell from that type of cancer is the worst. i would say the most painful is bone cancer. but with pancreatic and liver you don't have a very good chance of survival.

Usually, the one YOU are diagnosed. Probably, cancer of the spine in terms of pain.and cancer of the brain as it is very difficult to treat. The actual type of cancer would be melanoma as it is fast growing, very powerful, difficult to treat and unyielding to many treatments once it is established.

No. The deadliest cancer (in the US or otherwise) is Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) which is a highly aggressive brain tumor which can double in size every two days.
