I am suffering tingling and a heavy feeling in left side of my body and I'm being told that it could be an infection - de-myelination. Is this true and what can be done about it?/

I seem to get a heat rash when i exercise, i have only developed this over the last couple of months and it seems to get worse. It only happens when i excersise hard and therefore sweat. I've always stayed fit and gone to the gym so why have i developed this now. Any idea why i'm getting this and how to stop it? It appears like little raised dots on my skin and reddish in colour??????

Is it possible to have an infection but no rise in temperature. I think I may have a sinus infection but my doctor has given me nose drops which help but don't cure. As I do not have a temperarure he has not offered me an antibiotic. I also think that the sinus problem has a lot to do with the ringing in my ears as when my blocked nose clears for a while the ringing goes away or is very faint.

the air-con in my house been borken for the past few days (outside temp 120F). i started noticing little clusters of painless/colorless/kind of firm&itchy&annoying pimples on the sides of my thumbs and index fingers. ive had it before but to a much lesser degree.
it got alot worse last night but thank god the air-con was finally fixed this morning and the rash started to disappear. is this heat allergy?

i think i have something and i would like to get tested but i am really really really scared to see what the outcome is. i dont think i have it, but my worst fear is getting told that i have HIV or something. i know that this may sound dumb and i just need to face the music and get over it, what can help me out? does anyone have any experience with this?

He had a mild stroke and they diagnosed him with stage 3 lung cancer. This is inoperable but they sent him home to prepare for chemo at another date. He then suffered a second stroke that has severely hindered and crippled him mentally and physically. What are the chances of surviving stage three, and did the second devastating stroke make his chances of surviving the cancer much slimmer. I only ask you this as I'm not in position to speak to the Doctor and I only see my friend but once a week. Thank you.

It seems that their medical staff don't have it. It seems that way because of how many doctors treat the patients, and ask them questions that if they did have it, they would clearly know the answer to. Questions like, if you have anal warts, they ask, "are you gay"? If they or they're staff had hpv and had that, they would clearly know the answer to that...which the answer is clearly it has nothing to do with your sexuality.

Seems the whole "oh don't worry, it's a common disease" speech is their poor way of trying to give you comfort. Do they say that about AIDS too? "Oh you have aids, but don't worry, it's common". As if that makes everything better! It almost seems like what they're really saying is, "diseases like HPV is common, but only common among foolish people, not us educated doctors".

May be I'm just irritated, I apologise for that. What do you think about this? It seems pretty unfair, and false.

I have little blisters that form inside my bottom lip and they are "never painful". I have never performed oral sex. I just pop them with my teeth, because they are too tempting not to pop and them being there feels very abnormal. What are they? They come out only one or two at a time the size of this "o" and keep coming since I was 7. If they are HPV, then why dont they keep spreading to other parts of my mouth when I pop them? I've seen cold sore pictures and these are not nearly that big or red.

I have been feeling very sick after eating and have bad stomach pains. Thoguh my parents make me eat anyway so i dont loose weight. I always feel extemely cold, my finger and toes inparticular, they are white too. I am extrememly tired, and never have any energy no matter how much sleep i get. I often wake in the night freezing or will wake sweating...
Any ideas???
My iron used to be low but is now fine, its not thyroid related. and my weight is relatilvy normal.

I guess I first noticed chest pain when I was 23 and at an amusement park. We had been walking all day and I noticed a sharp stabbing pain in the middle of my chest while we were walking that went away.

Probably a year later I experienced my first "heart flutter" -- it knocked the wind out of me and I felt like my heart stopped for a second. Many more followed after that over the years but it's always infrequent.

I went through a really rough break-up last year and my anxiety/depression really kicked in. I started getting them a lot to the point where I went to my family doctor because I was seriously afraid for my health. He put me on anti-anxiety meds and it all went away. It's the only reason I kinda believe it's not heart related.

I've recently come off all drugs and the chest pain, occasional heart flutters, etc. are back. But all my doctors tell me it's "just stress". My aunt has a heart murmur, my grandmother had 2 heart attacks and my father had a minor one..

After i had sex with my x last year few months after i was having discharge and all abnormal stuff coming out from me. like greenish yellowish discharge.. sometimes i got smell sometimes dont. then had this pimple like on my external vagina and multiply. So a month after that reaction i went see gyn..then she tested me with STD, Paps, gram stain, gonnoreah, blood test me with HIV but i am perfectly ok which mean its negative and paps are normal. The only thing she found out is a fungal infection down there. So she gave me antibiotic, supositories but same problem comes back yeast infection is still there. I change doctor after such and diagnosed me with HPV i was not contented and went to a 3rd Doctor and told me i dont have anything. Its alarming. I want to have a normal life. Doctor 2 gave me cream aldara to put it on the so called warts but after two consecutive application ( which is every other day) my skin burnt and looked liked cold sores. i need help on this

In the past I have done some white stuff i shouldnt of done. I heard you can get hepatitis c from a bill or a straw is this true and if so how long would it take for hep c to show in a blood test and is there anything else you can get from this? I have relapsing remitting MS and are experiancing multiple injection reactions while on Copaxone, eg. increased heart rate, hot flushes, dizziness, vomitting, shortness of breath straight after having my injection. This has happened approx 6 times in 2 months. Any ideas would be appreciated.
