alchohol, cannabis and smoking are all linked to depression, so start with stopping cannibis first..give each thing up one thing at a time, eczema can be linked to your diet so find out if you have an allergy to something and see your GP....I know it seems hard but in life you reap what you sow!

Mate, I feel for you. Just been through this myself (DRINK N DRUGS). It's effing hard - much harder than I thought.

You hear all the time that weed isn't addictive - it bloody well is!

The first step has already been taken - you're aware of your problems.

See your Doc about the eczema - there must be something they can do for you?

In terms of the drinking and smoking pot - how bad is it? I found that, without realising it, I associated the 2 acivities, and doing one would always lead to the other. Be aware of things like that - take a look at your own activities - are there any clear "triggers" that set you off?

When I was cleaning up, I tried to get through just one hour and then day either without a beer or a spliff. The first week to 10 days is awful, but you have to go through it. Keep taking on fluids - you need to flush the system out, and your body will be expecting a load of sugary liquid from the booze.

Try to keep your mind occupied - thinking about having a smoke really does make things worse, trust me on this!

Let your good mates know the score - they'll take the pi$$ something chronic probably, but at least if they know what you're going through, they'll probably support you - or at least not make it worse for you.

Take it a minute, hour or day at a time. Don't give up.

Best of luck mate, sounds like a rough time in your life.

You have a lot on your plate.

I'd worry about the smoking last to be honest - you'll need some sort of crutch to get through the two main problems - the booze and the blow.

I'd start with a serious chat with your doctor. Be completely honest with him/her. They won't be able to give you an instant cure, but they can put you on the right path.

You can do a controlled dry-out at home, but you'll need sympathetic supervision for 72 hours. Do you have someone in your life who could do that for you? Failing that, it can be done in hospital, but it's difficult - they are already overstretched and some hospital staff (in common with some people in general) are incredibly unsympathetic to alcoholics because they see it is self-inflicted. It's not - it's a disease, and because alcohol is legal, you weren't overstepping any boundaries when you took your first drink.

Dry-outs, whether at home or in hospital, are no fun and you will feel weak as a kitten for a short while after. Try to find something to do that you like doing (reading? TV?) to take your mind off yourself for chunks of time, and start eating properly. Your body will miss the suger intake you used to get from alcohol so drink lots of sweetened tea or coffee or coke. Mars Bars are handy too.

This may seem daunting enough to start with but trust me, it's worth the effort. If you can get through the dry-out without any blow, then so much the better, but if it helps take the edge off the dry-out then use it to your advantage - but that's what you need to tackle next. If you're using strong stuff (skunk), step it down to milder stuff. Neither alcohol or blow is good for your depression.

In the meantime, the doctor should be able to give you some creams or ointment to alleviate the eczema and may put you in touch with a dermatologist and a Community Psychiatirc Nurse (CPN) to help you with your depression.

The question you need to ask yourself is this: do I feel so bad that I want to go through a little more pain to get better? If the answer is Yes, try aiming for one of those days when you're feeling calmer, take a deep breath, and go for it.

Best of luck buddy...

You can't just stop the alcohol & smoking as it would be a danger to your body. You would possibly suffer a heart defect/attack as your body would not be able to cope with the withdrawal all at once. You need to do this in stages. Easier said then done I know. The dope smoking is the easiest one to quit. Everytime you smoke a joint it gives you a hit in the back of the throat. Most smokers when they quit joints end up smoking more fags as they are looking for that hit in the throat. Try what I did. Buy a small tin of cigars. Everytime you want a joint. smoke a bit a the cigar. Gradually reducing the amount of times you smoke. It helps believe me.

The first thing that you need to quit smoking is support from an outside group. Try joining the national quit smoking campaign first. They will give you help and support 24/7. It won't be easy but it will get easier over time and there will be others who are going through the same thing.

The hardest thing for you to do will be the alcohol. It's in your blood stream including your liver. Go to your doctor and ask about a residential course for alcoholism where you can be monitored every day and night. This will be a lengthy process but you need to do this. There will be others there who are going through the same thing and it will help to see and speak to others. This will also help with your depression. They will have trained one to one councellors to help you.

For the eczema I would suggest Bio -Oil. It's a dry oil that you rub in. The ingredients help with the scarring as well. This can be purchased from most chemists but it's cheaper in superdrug.

You know that you have reached the end of the road and just by asking this question you have accepted that you need help badly. Thats the first toe on the ladder. You're so young and you have the rest of your life to get through and you need help to get there.

No matter how you look on the outside you're beautiful. You just need to keep on telling yourself this.

I wish you luck and let us know at a later date how you got on.

Skin diseases are no longer the great challenge they used to be.

A group of complex carbohydrates should normally be attached the proteins of every single cell in the human body.

The transfer of all biological data at cellular level depends upon all of those carbohydrates being in place.

Such problems are simply the result of the Immune System being compromised by the depletion of one or more of these carbohydrates.

Diseases such as Eczema, Psoriasis, skin cancer or Hives, are simply the result of the immune system not being able to recognise that there is a problem in the first place.

This is four times Nobel Prize winning science, with 350,000 scientific papers being written about it already.

Replacing these missing carbohydrates is quite straight forward, and promotes proper immune response. This attacks the root cause of the disease.

You need help with manic depression first. Chances are you will have better luck with the other problems if your mind is on straight.
Alcoholism probably started as a way to manage your depression. Treatment will make you feel a WHOLE LOT BETTER.
One problem at a time, one minute to the next.
I am so proud of you wanting to get better. That is the first step-- and the hardest one-
Good luck to you, hon.

You need to look after yourself. Start by eating properly, and in a couple of weeks you'll start to feel a bit better, and then look better. Cut out the drugs and the ciggies, cut down on the booze (if not out altogether), get yourself some comfy walking shoes and start with 20 minutes walking every day, and build it up. Drink plenty of clean water, eat lots of fresh fruit and veg, and you really will look and feel better.

You probably need to start with the cannabis, then the alcohol. But please get yourself some help with all this as it will take time and patience - find a therapist you trust who will guide you through.

Start with your blood sugar. It is possible, if your blood sugar is low, that all of your problems are due to that, or other conditions that aggravate low blood sugar.

www.hufa.org has info on low blood sugar and yeast (yeast may be the cause of the eczema).

Feel free to e-mail me if you have questions.
