Actually you need to ask yourself some questions:
Do you drink? If so, how much and for how long?
Have you been exposed to hepatitis, by food or bodily fluids?
Have you had a blood transfusion?
Have you used recreational drugs that you injected?
Do you have any right upper quadrant pain?
Then questions:
Do I need a liver biopsy?
Do I need a liver panel done?
What changes in my lifestyle will be helpful? (quitting alcohol, for instance)
What are my treatment options? (which if you have been diagnosed, he or she will give you.)
Good luck with this.
