Oh yeah....

For type I and type II diabetics (and those who are overweight and could potentially become diabetic). Copy and bookmark the webpages I‘ve listed below… they are invaluable for those with diabetes and/or weight problems...

I've found a wonderful book that will help you control your diabetes and minimize or even eliminate the complications. Some folks who became diabetic due to poor diet and obesity are effectively cured by following the advice in this book. I'm a type II (inherited), but it helps all types, especially those who became diabetic due to poor eating habits. It's by an author who has really done his homework, Patrick Quillin, Phd. It's called, "The Diabetes Improvement Program". I have tried his suggestions and found them to be very helpful. I have no complications whatsoever and my blood sugar levels are quite stable. Yes, I still have to take Metformin (Glucophage) daily, but it's the minimum dosage (500mg) and I only have to take it twice a day. I have been off Metformin for as much as a week, but this was with vigorous exercise. Many, what I call, non-hereditary type IIs (those that don't have a close relative who had it) have gotten off medication completely, just with diet, exercise, and supplements. So, in some instances, it most certainly can be 'effectively' cured. Read more about it here:

The book explains what's going on in our system and what to do about it. It's really easy and inexpensive. It's basically diet, supplements, and exercise. For example, did you know that cinnamon helps blood sugar absorption? It also controls cholesterol and triglycerides. This is according to the USDA:

For men: Are you suffering from erectile dysfunction? I was. Yes, WAS. Now that everything's under control, I'm able to have nearly normal sex again. I've also put together a little webpage highlighting some of the things I've learned here:

Yes, and to gain better control it is good to keep a digest of your carbs and if needed your calories as well.
I am a type 2 diabetic and I use a pill and two types of insulin as well as a new drug called Symilin, that is to help reduce your insulin and your food intake as well. The types of insulin I take are Novolog which is short acting and Lantus which is long acting. I also take Actos ( a pill). It has taken me a long time since my diagnoses in my 30's to gain some control, partly due to the fact that I didn't use any form of medicines for diabetes until at least 5 years after I was diagnosed.
I would not recommend that.
I would see a doctor and gain help. Sooner is better than later.
There are alto of complications that go along with diabetes.
I am dealing with neuropothy right now. And have to wear special shoes to help me out with it. They have extra room and cushioning.

It's possible, but your friend shouldn't do so blindly. Like all diabetics, he needs to regularly monitor his blood sugar before and after eating to make sure that his glucose levels are in a healthy range. He shouldn't just assume that because it's possible to control blood sugar off medication, that it's possible for him. Some diabetics can never go off medication and insulin, and so blood sugar testing is the only way he'll learn whether he needs medicine or not.

There is a plant called Castus. If you consume it's leaves every morning (along with methi in water) it brings down your blood glucose level. When I say "brings down" I do not mean to say that it reduces it abnormally but it usually stays between 80-90mg/dL of blood and it depends on your dietary intake. I don't know where you stay but you can get this plant in Bangalore in a place called Siddapura near Lalbagh Botanical Park. It'll cost you below a 100 bucks but you have to bargain for that. I suggest that you continue with your allopathic medication or whatever medication you are taking as the effects of this herbal medication takes a long time, and I mean a very loooooooooooooooooong time to show any results. And one important thing is that you musn't lose hope otherwise this herbal method will not work, it all depends on your faith. Allopatic medicines are Amaryl, Glyciphage and Metaday. All the best.

whatever u d, make sure you keep track of your blood sugar level and th edoctor draws a hemoglobin A1C every fewmonths. Then you can see if it is working. If you get high glucose levels (check w/doctor what your normal should be in the Am before meals and at other times) you may have to use more drastic measures while youtry to lose weight and exercise if possible. Do not allow your glucose levels to stay in the higher than normal range while you"wait" for the herbal remedies to work, this willbe dangerous and can casue irreversible damage to your heart, blood vessels, eyes, even sexual functioning-men Now we've got your attention! Diabetes is not to be toyed with.
