Read chapter 16 (Liver Damage Has Become Widespread) in Adelle Davis' book Let's Get Well. She discusses fatty livers and how she treated them from a nutritional standpoint. Her method was apparently successful in a large number of cases and would bear some study.

Fatty liver is aggravated by diet and exercise. Fatty liver is not obesity of liver. It is caused by under nutrition,alcohol and diabetes.Get it treated medically. If anything you are supposed to eat more.

Do some online searches for "liver cleanse", "milk thistle", and "dandelion root". Walking is your best exercise. Drink plenty of water to flush toxins.
