Do you usually sit or stand more often? Is your work past fast, average, or relaxed? Stressful or pressured?

Part of the roof of my mouth is swollen, raw, and painful. On top of that, my gums bleed when I brush my teeth (and sometimes they just bleed during the day.)

Problem is, I don't have any insurance until the middle of June.

I know that wasn't phrased as a question, but I'd love any advice or comments you guys might have.

What was the problem with them and are there any side-effects?

I love seeing the dentist. I was wondering how to address the dental assitants and the hygenist. I know their first names but sees too imformal. Is it okay to call the hygenist "doctor" or is that incorrect. And for dental assitants? There are several when I go and can't usually say "hi" because my mouth is being worked on but I would like to thank them but don't know what's the proper adress.
Please serious answers only. Thanks!

I went to the dentist 2 wks ago who noticed my teeth were a bit see-through which means enamel erosion. He told me to cut out acidic foods and fruit and use an electric toothbrush which I did but suddenly my teeth look even more see-through and now I'm really worried! Is going electric making it worse? Please help; any advice or info welcome - thanks!

i want braces but i'm in a financial bind right now between bills, rent, car note, food expenses and school, someone told me that i could go to TJ. and get the braces put on way cheaper than it would cost me to start out here, (CA.) it sounds like a good idea seeing as how i can always get my ortho treatment out here in CA ,

It was meant to have been after school but we got home and one thing led to another and I just forgot. Totally my fault. How much do they charge you?

My soon to be 9 year old son will have to have dental surgery this Monday (to remove an extra tooth) and he will have to go under general anesthia, without the breathing tube. I am worried sick,,,,,I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and therefore I am a chronic worrier...I keep thinking "what if' he doesn't wake up? Please tell me of any experience you have had with your child going under anesthesia....Thank you sooooo much!

I'm going in for a cleaning & do to pain in my gums they are going to put me under local anesthetic. I've had horrible experiences with dentists in the past and I'm not looking forward to having a needle poked into my gums & being drilled away at for an hour.

Will an MP3 player help, or will that somewhat isolate the sound of the drills? What else can I do to stay comfortable throughout the cleaning?
