my teeth look like crap and ive tried crest whitening strips and cheapo bleaches which none have worked (and honestly its not worth it to me to wear those strips for months and pay all of that/go through all of that discomfort with the poor results that ive seen from people that used them for less than a year)-ive heard that crest whiteout looking stuff works but is hard on teeth, but now i cant find it anywhere. anyone know of anything that works?

Ive had thsi awful taste in my mouth for the last few days now , its stopping me from enjoying my food and im onstantly thinkin if people can smell it, ive brushed my teeth many of times drank mouth wash , used mints and some breathe spray, but this taste in my mouth wont go, its hard to describe what it tastes like but ill try its kinda like a coppery taste, like when you have been touching coppre coins for a while and accidnetally put your fingetr in your mouth tasting it , and its a mix of dry throat dryness and kinda vomity, like the taste just after you have thrown up , the only time i can remember throwing up was 10 days ago but the taste in my mouth has only just started happening over the last 3 days, does anyone know what this could be and how i can get rid of it, i dunno what to do, ive drank gallons of water to wash it away but it wont go, it feels as if there is a layer of something in my throat when i drink tho, what could this be i know its a gross question and im sorry

My wisdom teeth have been coming in now for a while. And they just all of a sudden started to hurt really bad. I'm thinking that maybe they are really breaking through the skin. The skin around the tooth is a pinkish white and I know that when like a baby is teething, there gums turn like a pinkish white... I know they are not infected, and I know I need to get them out. But . I guess I was just wondering if they are hurting so bad because they are coming in more so, and how I can get the pain to stop 'till I can afford to get them taken out.... OH and how much do you think it is to be put out for the surgery?

Thanks

i really hate the way my smile is with braces, it makes my teeth look dark and yucky. i was wondering if there was any way i could possibly whiten my teeth with this horrible device in my mouth.

Hi guys
I'm middle aged and have had 3 or 4 teeth removed in the past. My present dentist thinks that I need to have one of my wisdom teeth removed. The gum line has receded around it a litttle and it has been filled twice in the past, at present I am suffering with it being a little over sensitive but the tooth itself looks OK. I am very reluctant to have it removed but my dentist says it's my only option. He said he could replace it with tooth on a plate....but off course all this will cost me. My previous dentist said that taking teeth out should be a last resort once everything else has been tried.
I'd be very interested to hear other peoples opinions and experiences.

Kindest Regards

Andy

I went to the dentist today she said that I have a dry socket. She put some type of gauze in the socket. She said if it falls out its ok because there is dry socket patse in my hole. I have to go back not tomorrow but thursday to get it checked and have a new dressing put in? It still hurts, is this normal to go back 2 days later for a new dressing and not 1 day? When will the pain subside?

Im 26 weeks pregnant and I had my top back tooth extracted last week and today I found out I have a dry socket. My question is what are the safest steps for me to do after I take out the gauze? Do I follow the same directions my dentist gave me when I got my tooth extracted or is there other things I should do?

My toddler used to be OK with tooth brushing; however, the past month or so she will not open her mouth for me to do it. If she does, she immediately clamps down and throws a fit until i let go and have her do it. She doesn't actually brush but just sucks the training paste right of the bristels. Any suggestions on how to actually brush her teeth? She is getting back molars in so that could be the culprit. Should I be concerned about tartar and her gums from not actually brushing?
