General dentist place crowns. If you have a full mouth reconstruction a prosthodontist will place them.

i have had alot of cosmetic dental work done such as crowns. just a general dentist can do the procedure.. you don't have to go to a special dentist to get the procedure done.but keep in mind this is a very expensive procedure,, but it'd worth it in the end. hope this helps ya
