I had a consultation with an Invisalign specialist as my front two teeth are little bit out. The doctor said he can straighten them with Invisalign within one year. I thought of having a 2nd opinion and the other doctor said, Invisalign is not for me. I should have transparent braces on the top and it would take 2 years to straighten my teeth. Now I am confused as to which way should i go ? Can any one please suggest me ?

I havn't been to the dentist for 10 years as I am extremely phobic of going, I can't even walk into the dentist with someone else as the smell makes me feel sick and I start to have panic attacks. I am sure I need at least one filling, but I can't go, how can I overcome this phobia?

If a person had a root canal, and that root canal went bad after years, and the denstist suggested that the person needed surgery to deal with the infection that happened from that, and the surgery did not work out well, so now the denstist said that the person should see an endo-dental professional for perhaps implants... how long should the person wait to get more endo surgery, and how painful is it, and what is the outcome?

I'm getting some nice dry (so far) heaves when I brush my teeth or floss.

My gums are like a lot of pregnant womens' -- sore, prone to bleeding, even itchy.

They were fine until recently; I persist with the brushing and flossing anyway, but it's a bit of a mess. I'd like to see my dentist, but what on earth is the protocol for patients who're going to retch if somebody fiddles with their teeth?

I am reluctant to purchase the White Strips as I've read that they cause tooth sensitivity.

I saw Listerine now has a whitening mouth wash.

Does it work?

I do not know why is my teeth hurting strangely. Probably I may have some gum disease but the hurt is like sometimes at position X, then at Y, then at Z and then randomly around. Is it sound kind of signal?

ps I hope I don't have to visit the dentist.
