front teeth are okay, it's just from my 'vang' teeth and back really...i use aquafresh or colegate whitening paste, but with no GREAT results, maybe thats because i drink like 4/5 cups a day though:/

but can this easy be sorted out by a scrape and polish from the dentist? or will the tootpaste sort it out if i stop drinking it for a few weeks?

I just wanted to update everything in case you guys pass by...I bought an electric toothbrush and began to use that, some strong mouthwash and floss everyday and the bleeding has stopped. The bad breath also, the pain is gone too. Im really glad. I am going to see a dentist next week to see if everything is alright. Thanks everyone for the advice.

Since I can remember I have always had this big bump in the middle of the roof of my mouth. Until today I thought it was normal. My boyfriend saw it and thought it was strange..I just said it was normal. Then I asked my parents and they said they didn't have it and looked at mine. They claim they've never seen it before which made me feel like I was going crazy. I don't remember ever not having it and they've looked in my mouth a ton of times since I was born. Obviously the dentists and doctors have looked in my mouth before too so it shouldn't be anything bad since they've never said anything. I am just wondering why my palete is like this? And could this have had any effect on my health?

I know I need to go to the dentist. I have a wisdom tooth that is killing me, and I'm taking ibuprofen like candy now. The thought of the pain-even from the numbing shots (I'm VERY sensitive to pain) terrifies me. So, why can't dentists either prescribe one heavy duty pain pill to be taken 30 minutes before the procedure, or just give the patient one when they arrive at the office? (Heck, even some type of anti-anxiety pill would help someone like me...)

After brushing you teeth do you do a final rinse?
If you answer no, why not?

it seems more practical to brush your teeth after you eat breakfast. Not only is it more hygenic ( there will be nothing stuck in your teeth after brushing your teeth) and your breath will stay fresher longer. And if you think its unhygenic to have breakfast before you have breakfast why do you think it is so?
