You can call your local pharmacies and ask how much it will be. Call around. You'll be amazed at the difference in price.

Ketek is in a group of drugs called antibiotics. Ketek helps the body fight infection that is caused by bacteria and is used to treat bacterial infections in the lungs and sinuses.

Be very cautious. Ketek may cause sudden and serious liver damage. In rare cases, liver failure can develop and may cause death. Stop using the medication and call your doctor right away if you have nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, or jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes). Do not take Ketek if you are taking cisapride (Propulsid) or pimozide (Orap).

This is a fairly new antibiotic that is on the market...it is expensive and they are having alot of bad reactions to it! If you are looking for a cheaper antibiotic...ask your doctor for something like Keflex or Amoxicillin.
