I was referred to an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth removal. They set up an appointment and I was unsure of whether I wanted sedation or not. I got there and asked if I could speak with someone about the risks and stuff first, and they said yes. (I was never offered a consultation prior to the surgery). Well I never got to talk to anyone. The place was packed and everything was so fast paced it made me more nervous than I was to begin with. They rushed me into a room and the rude nurse sort of answered my questions but not really. So I just decided to get the sedation although I wasn't sure what they did. They did not close the doors on any room. There were like a billion people in there just walking by. They took me to my surgery room, and again left the door open for everyone to see. Then I woke up in recovery, the door open, and the nurses were fighting with eachother about who was supposed to be taking care of me (I thought this was unprofessional).
