Monday at lunch I bit a carrot and broke my 2 big front teeth on top. They broke just inside the gum and they were black inside. I haven't been to a dentist since I was 9(I'm 14 now) but I thought I was takin good care of my teeth. Anyways, my mom took me to a dentist the next day and I had the broken parts pulled out. So now I need to get some fake teeth to put there cuz I have a huge hole in my smile. We don't have dental insurance so I need a cheaper fix if possible for now at least. I hate walkin around like this.

Shes only 2 and she used to love brushing her teeth, she is now going through a ''faze'' and she hates getting her teeth brushed. I try to brush them everyday but she gets really frustrated when i do so. Anyway I just had a look at her top teeth and notices little white marks on the top ones. What is this likely to be?

I was once told this means you are not gettin enough calcium, but im not sure if its true. I am vegetarian but my daughter eats anything. Meat, yoghurt, cheese, lots of veg, pasta, etc....

I've had a tooth filled recently which had a cavity, about a year or two ago. After the filling and since that point, i've always had a very sensative area around my gums of that filled tooth. When i bite down, i don't feel any pain whatsoever, however when i press that part of my gums it hurts. When i brush my teeth around that area on the bottom row it can become painful, sometimes annoying for 10 minutes or so if i'm not gentle. I'm going to go to a different dentist for a second opinion as i feel the one who did the filling hasn't been that great of a dentist overall, but do you think this looks like anything very serious that would require a root canal? the dentist that did it claims he doesnt know use sensodyne toothpaste (no help) i'm thinking maybe he didn't get all of the cavity? perhaps it's something mild like an air bubble? what does it sound like it could be? the pain is only while brushing and pressing against it. Thank you.

i've been having problems with sensative gums on bottomrow teeth prior to this. I went to the dentist for just a regular cleaning and i've gone 6 months before without issues (i'm 20 and recently started going again since i was around 19 yearsold) and when they were using a toothscraper i believe, and they were sticking it between my bottom row of teeth fairly roughly and pulling up, sorta seems like they were wedging it between. and scraping between teeth. i spit out quite an amount blood(and tiny pieces of gum) seemed like the whole first cup of water, and i'm noticing i have small gaps now on bottom row! (small enough for tongue to get stuck in one, and the rest feel awkward and sensative)
my question is, is it possible to create a gap with a dentist tooth scraper like this? they said it was "normal" to have small gaps on bottom teeth because of plaque removed but the teeth feel a bit sensative and it's bothering me. i never noticed gaps there before, i think they screwed them up..

Okay so I'm not worried about the shot or the drill that much. Well okay I'm nervous about the shot so they offered nitrous oxide.
What exactly does that do to you??

Especially in the morning when I wake up, the second time I spit is always the time I spit out blood. I look at my mouth and always see the same teeth's gums where the blood come out.

Other time too, bloods just come out without reason.

I dont have insurance, no family doctor. I only have charity care in the public hospital nearby but they dont cover dental stuff.
I need to know where and how to do to help my gum problem, as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

For about 2 or 3 days I have had swollen gums and a soft bump in the back on my mouth next to two teeth that have cavities. I'm pregnant, and don't have dental insurance. Does anyone know if I should just try and "pop" the bump myself? It's very painful, and it's keeping me from eating.

Any help would be great.
