I'm not in excruciating pain, but they still hurt a bit. Is that normal? It's only been 3 full days.

Yes it is very normal. You might want to take some pain reliever. If you suck on a freshly used tea bag over the hurting area that also helps.

I had mine removed 20 plus years ago. I felt liked I'd been kicked in the mouth by a donkey for about a week, had to have 10 days of work I had it done about this time of year and still felt some discomfort when I was having my christmas dinner. Hopefully things have moved on in dental surgery and you will feel better much quicker but still I think some pain is normal.

Yes it is very normal. But dont eat anything hard . And keep on taking the strong pain killers . And if the pain dose not go way in the next 2 or 3 day phone your dentist .

This is totally normal. It all depends on the size of your mouth, the size of the teeth and if they had to remove skin around the teeth and mouth. I would start to be concerned if the pain lasts past a week.
