I seem to be having a lot of teeth problems lately...
If you saw my last post, I mentioned that I had pain near the tooth where my cavity is. I was wrong. I have pain on my gum two teeth ahead, and I'm starting to think that I may have an abscess. I had my mother try to look to see what she saw and she said she thought she saw something that looked like a small pimple.

I go to the dentist in about two weeks. What I've read about letting abscesses sit too long is that they make you sick. The pain is bearable, mostly just annoying. I'm not really sure if it's an abscess, if I got food stuck in there, I poked too hard with the toothpick-end of my floss stick, or what. I have "magic mouthwash" from about 10-11 months ago when I had a mouth ulcer/abscess and I've been trying to use that to numb it and make the infection better. I'm not sure if the dentist can schedule me in any earlier than two weeks though.

What should I do? What can I do?

I've had mild toothache(s) for the past couple days. Doesn't really bother me much, just feels kind of weird. Doesn't bother me to eat at all, even sweets and cold stuff. Thing is, I can feel it on both sides of my mouth, almost like the same tooth but opposite sides. When I clench my teeth together, I wouldn't say it hurts, I just feel the weird feeling more. Any idea what it could be?

I've heard that vinegar removes mineral deposits from coffee makers, bathrooms, etc. Will it work on a flexible piece of plastic? I have a dental appliance that is getting mineral deposits on it. Thanks.

Yesterday evening I noticed that an area of my gum just slightly above and directly in between my two front teeth looked a bit puffy and red. I would have thought this was gingavitis or something but it is only area that appears like that. Now, it may or may not have anything to do with it, but a couple years ago- I accidently sneezed while playing my guitar. As I sneezed, my head blasted down towards my guitar and it resulted in my gums hitting the edge of the guitar. This caused a scab on my gums for a while and ever since then, I've had a tiny little scar there. (It's more like an imprint of where my gums hit the edge of the guitar.) This was a couple years ago and it has never looked red and puffy except for a little after it happened. I don't understand how it could be caused by plaque though as I brush my teeth AND gums twice a day and only gently. My last check up was about 5-6 months ago and even my dentist said it looked like I was brushing well. Any ideas on what I should do?

I have been having some tooth pain on a tooth that has had prior fillings. It comes and goes.My "dentisit" x-rayed it and said it "looked fine" but then examined me and refered me to get a root canal with out much explanation.
Can a root canal be determined with a clear xray? I'm confused but most of all don't want to pay 900 dollars and go through a root canal for no reason!

recently the top layer of my wisdom tooth was exposed revealing a hard yellow substance. I began to pick at it (i know i probably shouldn't have) but I did anyway and it began to chip away and it looked like what might happen when popcorn builds up. Does anyone know what this is?

Thanks for those who ansewred to my last question regarding holitosis. I am giving some more details about my problem, please help me out to find the solution,Please help

I have problem of bad breath or holitosis from past 3 to 4 years.
I usually do brushing twice a day and also clean the tounge after brushing, but still the bad breath comes from my mouth. My teeth are slight yellowish color, I consulted dentist and he said "there is no problem with my teeth. The bad breath is not due to teeth in your case, he also mentioned that it may be due to the problem in respiratory or due to digestive problems". I have no idea what to do, to whom I have to consult now. Can you please suggest me what to do and how to get rid of this problem?

Additional Details:
1. endscopy test results are +ve (no-probs).
2. I have underwent master helth check-up test, they took some blood sample, urine and stool sample, chest X-ray, ultrasound scan, etc,. They mentioned there is no problem in my healt

I just made an appointment for tomorrow to have the dentist pull my upper left molar tooth..Tooth number #15, I believe. It is in such bad shape, that they want to pull it. I have had 4 diff. teeth pulled at the oral surgeon, but they put me under..I had another tooth pulled when they couldn't perform a root canel because I couldn't keep my mouth open wide or long enough so they just pulled it..That didn't hurt..However, I have never had a molar tooth pulled...Does it hurt at all? I'm kinda nervous
