you can beach them (go to a professional since normal household beach is toxic) also if you drink coffee or smoke that will cause them to be yellowish

Have u considered having your teeth whitened? Consult with your dentist and see if this will take care of the problem before u consider veneers. Whitening now a days is very easy and done in the office, you'll see the results right away. Call and make an appointment.

well after braces are removed the dentist, orthadontist is suppose to clean the residue of the glues and other deposits that happen during the time the braces are on.
didn't that proceedure take place?
otherwise it takes time... patience.. just brush your teeth at least once a day... floss.. if the UK has listerine in the white bottle "whitening formula" use that every so often.
time matters here... if you use products to bleach or damage teeth the teeth and gums will weaken over time.

You need to show same kind of patience as you did with the braces on. First you may possibly ask your orthodontist for brand recommendations of some home bleach with trays. BriteSmile or Zoom2 or any other could also be considered. Expensive veneers can always be the last resort.

I have the whitening trays from the dentist. They cost about $275.00 but the dentist will usually work with you on a payment plan. I am very happy with the results. This is not the Zoom kind. It cost a lot more.

Baking soda is good. Overuse of home peroxide products can actually make your teeth more yellow. You should get them professionally whitened (and not one of those one-hour places).

there is a smoking toothpaste that is very good called Eucryl. in UK.
(get the green one if you are going to get this, the original is disgusting lol ;oP)
but obviously not to be used everyday as it takes the enamel off your teeth to get the staines off.
