I'm 15 years old now, and when I was 7 years old, I never took good care of my teeth when I had braces(I had braces for 5 or 6 years) I brushed them sometimes but usually I never brushed them. I went to my dentist and she said I couldnt get my teeth bleached because I wasnt 18 and then she said even if I were to get them whiten, it would only whiten the little white spots on my teeth, like they are kinda brownish with little white spots on them but they are mosty brownish, and then she said it would only whiten the white spots on my teeth, not the brown, which is most of my teeth.

Is there any way to whiten my teeth like some home remedy mixture or product?

Is it true that if I bleached my teeth, it would only bleach the little white blotches on them?

Thanks and the person who answers both of these questions gets the TEN points.

Where my tooth was extracted is whitish and one part is grayish. i know that it is tissue not bone. Is this right? I've been swirshing lightly with warm salt water and I have not been smoking.

Think about the physics of this. The tongue scrapers are located on the end of the brush on the opposide side to the bristles. When you wish to scrape your tongue you don't want to scrape the tip of the tongue, you want to scrape the whole top of the tongue. This means sticking the toothbrush in your mouth so that the bristles are scraping the roof of your mouth. This always makes me wretch. I gave up on the idea after 3 days.
I don't disagree with the benefits of a clean tongue, just the concept of a toothbrush based product.

Am I doing something wrong? Instructions were not provided. I'm not worshiped by the ladies as my tongue skills do not "extend" that far so sticking a toothbrush down my throat is the only way I can think to use the darned thing.

mouth set of x-rays. I am uncomfortable with doing so. I do not want all that radiation and it seems like it isn't necessary as my pockets were measured and they are deep, so could any of you dentists or hygenists please give me some feedback on this. Thank You

My dentist constructed a care plan for me. Next week I will be receiving a filling in two of my teeth. The care plan says MIBL Resin +4 surface. What does this mean? sounds kinda complicated. The other teeth that I will be having filled just says amalgam surface and the cost is a lot less...real strange. My tooth doesnt look "THAT" bad...?

I'm supposed to wear this retainer(got my braces off awhile ago), according to my orthodontist for a year but I haven't and my teeth haven't moved since. He said that it'll get worse though. What do you think? Feel free to chide me if needed.

I've had braces for about a year now, so it's not like I don't know how to brush my teeth or anything. But I was just wondering if anyone has extra tips to keep them shiny-clean? What's it like to kiss someone with braces anyways?
