I have been dipping for about 5 years now and I would really love to quit. But going "cold turkey" is too hard for me and i had a friend who told me nicorette was the most expensive habit he ever had wtf can i do???

I don't use snuff myself but I know of someone who has. The way he stopped dipping is by chewing ordinary gum like trident chewing gum. I was searching the Internet to see if they were any snuff alternatives and what I found was something called "mint snuff" it does not contain any tobacco for more information about this product you can go to http://www.quittobacco.com/. It has a variety of flavors and it is available at many Kroger stores.

Ask your doctor. I had great success with a drug called Zyban prescribed by my doctor. Zyban is a mild antidepressant that researchers have discovered helps block receptors in the brain that are effected by the nicotine in the dip and other tobacco products. I was cured in two weeks. The only bad side effect to Zyban is it makes it difficult to climax during sex. If you can go with out that for a few weeks you may have success. Check out the article in the links below.
Be careful when quitting the Zyban if you do decide to use it. Tapering off Zyban is much safer than just stopping. See the second link too (important stuff to know) Also you'll find the generic brand of Zyban much more affordable.
This is truly a miracle drug for people who want to cease nicotine addiction in any form.

It's your choice where you spend your money, but getting fillings and root canals and crowns can add up to a lot of money, not to mention pain and aggravation. Not to mention the fairly high rate of oral cancer caused by dipping. Quit dipping any way you can.
