well it all depends on the dentist around your area, all dentist tend to be expenssive . I think i had to pay 100 dollars to get one tooth pulled(in LA) so if thats cheap for you go over there.

My advice is to contact any dentist, explain the problem and ask where the nearest dental school is. The dentist may take your case, and let you make payments, or they may send you to a dental school where you could get good work done cheaply.Do you mean Cork, as in Ireland?

No, sorry I'm in Canada but here you can try a university dental school for lower prices or if you are on welfare there are dentists available for some dental work. Try contacting a social service agency i.e. a drop-in or shelter or a settlement service for immigrants. They should be able to give you some help.

I don't know your specific area, but when I was travelling (uninsured), I had to have a tooth extracted, and what I did was to go to a teaching hospital where they train dentists and dental assistants. They have to be supervised by their instructors, and it was free. In some places it might cost something. It was actually a pretty good way to get cheap dental work.

Apply for insurance. The state should help you out. I don't think there are any cheap Doctors out there.
