Dental - August 2006

She was as brave as can be but as soon as we walked out, she almost toppled over in pain, complaining that her head was pounding and her stomach hurt really bad. I thought she was gonna pass out because she was sweating and could hardly walk. I took her back in and the dentist said it could be because she is hungry. So I rushed her over to eat, as dificult as that was because her whole mouth was still numb. She is laying down now and says the pain is gone. What was this all about? Anybody ever experience a side effect to the "numb juice"? This has never happened before.

Just worried.

well guys any last words..tomorrow is my extraction of two badly broken teeth one being a wisdom tooth...i am still nervous though some of you have helped..i freak thinking since i will not be put to sleep that he will have to cut my gum or drill something and i will scream in pain..lol..i will have gas and of course the lovely shots..i am just scared of teh unknown and hoping for no pain..any last advice

Man iv'e been having problems wit this one tooth. i just got back from the dentist and they told me that i have two options. I can either get a root canal.. or just get the tooth pulled. I want to get it pulled out because its faster and i won't have to worry about that same tooth giving me problems but i'm afraind it may cause problems when i'm eating.. what do you guys think?

i went to a hygienist and she cleaned my teeth, but she said that was the primary cleaning and that i needed a secondary cleaning and i have another appointment with her and she said she's going to stick a needle in my gums. what's going to happen? i'm nervous.

Heres the whole story. I went to the orthodontist 2 years ago, and for some reason, told me to wait 2 years. So, its 2 years, and Im going back. I know I will need 2 or 4 teeth pulled. Im really nervous about that. Please tell me what its will feel like and what happens. I know my ortho will tell me but I wanna know from people..........you know? HELP!!!! I need dental implants. My bridge broke, i took it out and I'm sick of only having about 4 front teeth. My dentist just looks at me and thinks of trips that I will be funding of his like alaska, and a deserted tropical island. Dentists just seem to want to do procedures that cost me money, instead of caring about my dental health. I've had 7 root canals, and all those teeth are now gone, so what was the point? Does anyone have an answer?
