One possibility is what you drink. If I drink Lemonade for instance consisitently for more than a week then my tongue becomes irritated and remains that way until I stop. Certain liquids have higher acidity levels I believe and it just irritates the tongue. Try drinking just water for a week and see if that helps your tongue out any.

sounds like geographic tongue. look it up on Google images.

Are you stressed?

Try taking a multivitamin... make sure it's got a good source of B vitamins.

not sure ... but you may want to speak to your dentist about it. I had bad tongue sensitivity and he gave me a cortisone mouthwash.
