~~~ I understand what your saying,,,being stuck in a chair,,,not in total control of your situation,,,just let your Dentist know of your concern,,,,ask him to let you know what he is going to do next as he is doing the proceedur,,,Im sure his assistant will be right there,,,mabey before the Dr comes in the room, you could let the assistant know how scared you are,,,,she will probably be very supportive and give you comfort during your appointment.

that's scary.
like you, i get kinda scared with my tooth extracted. the last time, two persons have to pull up my molar and that kinda got me freaked out. they have to inject extra anesthesia since they had to figure out what to do with it.
