I noticed that when I go to the dentist if I get more than one shot per visit I start to feel awful like a passing out type of feeling and weakness and just abnormal feeling. But when I only get one shot I do just fine, no problem. Is this normal? Does it have anything to do with body weight. I"m currently about 95 pounds. I need to have a root canal done soon but I'm worried I can't handle too much anesthetic shots. Won't there be many shots for a root canal procedure? Especially since I use carbocaine it wears off very fast. I don't use the shots with epinephrine because they cause pounding heart.

will it help somewhat temporarily or does it not help at all because it is just above the gum line? I ask because all four quadrants require deep scaling, but it will take some time to get it all done and I thought getting some cleaning would be of some benefit to calm the swollen gums-but don't know?

I was wondering if kids or (thirteen year olds) can use whitening products on their teeth to make them whiter.I heard that using these products when your young can harm your teeth and can damage the enamel on your teeth. Is this true? What products can i use? Thanks

I am seeking an insurance plan or discount program that handles restorative work and implants unless someone knows of something new for teeth that have been knocked out or broken off . Looking at the entire upper mouth front and 2 molar on one side. Money is an issue but so it this persons emotional welfare. What type of program is best for this extensive work? Does anyone know about costa rica dentists? I hear they are cheaper and they can do the work at just a few sittings>>>

I am supposed to have my four wisdom teeth out on Friday (the 18th). Just brushed and flossed my teeth and saw that I have an absess and it just burst with fluid. I called the oral surgeons office but it's now closed this late in the afternoon. I will call back in the AM. I'm guessing they will give me antibiotics, but will they make me reschedule my surgery/extraction? I have to start back to college on the 24th. I cannot reschedule this appointment, and if I did, it would have to wait till the middle of december when I'm out of school. Anyone had this happen as far as an infection right before the extraction appt.??
