I like to mouthwash until i physically feel like im going to die from the burning in my mouth. Are there any adverse heath effects that could develop from this? If so why?

Yes, there are adverse effects. As I have learned the hard way, using a mouthwash too often upsets the balance of bacteria. The end result could be a yeast infection which has to be treated by a doctor giving you medications. There is such a thing as too clean.

I don't think so, but the pain you are experiencing could be that you are allergic to the ingredients. I'm allergic to a lot of toothpastes and mouthwashes (mostly the ones with the tartar-control stuff in them). They can be quite painful for me to use.

Listerine citrus doesn't burn as bad, and then I think its what, crest pro health, that supposedly reduces the sting.

Also, listerine whitening (white bottle that says whitening, its what I use and really works) isn't even half as bad as regular listerine or any other one.
