i chipped my front tooth and i have to get it fixed i have to get a shot in my gums for it they are going to put a kind of toothpast on my gums first to numb the tisue and then give me the shot. has this ever happend to you and does it hurt? how much does it hurt??

Go to a reputable dentist, you may have a hairline fracture down to the root, you probably need X-rays, or worse case, you may need a root canal, if you exposed the pulp. If its a small,superficial chip, you don't need anesthetics, just a veneer/bond.

I never heard of numbing the gums to bond a chipped front tooth. But the needle stings for a second and then its fine after that. It shouldnt take very long.

no it does not hurt,ive had shots before and all you feel is a little pinch on your gum and thats all, just relax you'll be fine

Doesnt hurt bad, the numbing cream will numb it enough.

the shot is not that bad your going to drive yourself crazy dont think about it untill after your in there.Good luck
