Toothpaste - I usually go with a name brand that is currently on sale or has a coupon. Washing powder - My wife has her favorite brand. Lord help me if I don't come home with that brand. Milk - Store brand, low price. Bank - Momentum, been with the same bank for 20 years or so. See no need to change. Insurance - Company reputation for claim service, breadth of coverages available and reasonable pricing (not necessarily the lowest price).

I got some Caroid tooth powder abuot 15 years ago, but the drug store had to special order it for me! Check into the excellent suggestions above before you go to that extreme. Baking soda is fine for brushing your teeth, but it sure doesn't leave a very zippy flavor in your mouth.

I've seen it for sale in health food stores.
But easily enough, you can make your own for cheap:
mix equal parts of baking soda and salt (any kind of fine salt will do, not coarse ground)
You can add a few drops of peppermint oil (or essential oil of your choice) for flavor, but it's not required.
This mixture will clean your teeth very well when used with a toothbrush.

In a drugstore that carries old-fashioned products. It'll be on the lowest shelf of the toothpastes.

some of the larger chain drugstores still carry the tooth powders. If they don't have it where you live, they can order it, or you can by going online to pharmasav.com.

Use baking soda.
"Used in toothpaste, baking soda helps to gently remove stains, whiten teeth, freshen breath, and dissolve plaque."
