i have a severe sore throat and it flares up usually at night time and morning after i wake up. i toook a throat culture test and it came up negative for strep. i have no fever and have not had one in the past 4 days that ive had this sore throat. i cannot determine what it is and i cannot find anything that can soothe the pain of it either. i have been gargling salt and hot water.

The first time I went to my psychiatrist to get on anti depressants I was charged $200 for a 10 minute appointment

Walked in, walked out 10 mins later with a subscription and without an extra $200.

So 3 months later I had to renew my prescription, and I just had to pay another $200 for another 10 minute appointment.

I have the feeling I am being ripped off, this guy is charging me $200 just to write his permission to give me medication on a piece of paper.

Is this a normal fee, does anyone else here have to pay this much money just to get a prescription updated?

(For the record I cant use my insurance because they don't cover mental health issues unless in severe cases,)

I've had them for awhile, i'm not like a pimple monster, i just get them occasionaly. I use clean and clear, and proactive. Though, proactive doesn't work on my skin. Any ideas for a healthy way to make them dissapear, quickly? Natural ways, like products around the house.
Thanks alot. Well appreciated =]

Ok, I'm 14, & I went 2 the Dr. for my yearly check-up, & my Dr. said I was about 15 pounds over weight. I drink a lot of Dr.Pepper. So I switched 2 diet Dr.Pepper, & went on a little diet. Well I guess from the diet I started drinking about 6 to 10 or more diet Dr.Perppers a day. I lost the 15 pounds & started drinking water instead of diet Dr.Pepper recently. & now that I have started drinking water instead of diet soda, I'm tossing and turning all night, my muscles are sore & wanting to jerk and move, my nose is running, my eyes r watering, I'm getting aggravated and mad really bad for no reason & I'm felling just plain sick. & this started like a night after I switched 2 water from diet soda. about 4 days ago. so yesterday I drank a diet soda & I felt a lot better. No more of those symptoms. & I was just wondering if this could B Aspertame addiction withdrawals? Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

i sort of have this plan:

BREAKFEST: weight control oatmeal.

LUNCH: an apple and a sandwhich.
sandwhich is a tuna sandwhich kinda, idk what to call it except instead of tuna its chicken breast with miracle whip mayo and 2 cucumber slices.also glass of water.

dinner: salad with tomatoes && cucumber with LIGHT ranch, with glass of water

excercise: tae bo and 130 situps.

if i have time i will run AND walk 1-2 miles.

if i do that for 4 weeks, will i lose 8 pounds?

lots of water!!

The substance may be some other type of clothing resolution and she drank the equivalent to a couple swallows I guess. She seems fine but I am worried she will get sick in a few hours. The solution was in a bottle that she marked to take to the laundry mat and in her carelessness while taking her medication she picked up the bottle and drank it.

Last friday-The other day got to my grandparents to take some advil after 4 hr trip, asked it I wanted some food I could not say the word yes. Fell to one knee and then on my back, its like my brain was shut off for a short time then in very slow mode for 1-2hrs. Ambulance came and everything they checked was ok, but I couldnt say my street address. Got to the ER and ekg, blood test, catscan all were neg said DR. How can this be? I have been feeling this was for over 1 year now, spaced out and the amb. driver said it wouldnt be from sleep. My legs, arms and back were all twitching real fast and I could stop them, I knew what was going on but couldnt really move or do anything but breath and that seemed like I might not remember to. No major pain at all, loss of feeling, but I have had that over the last 1yr. Since then it seems cant get enough sleep, feeling of brain shutting off again, hot neck back of head. ANY IDEAS Since ER blew me off. My life is in slow mode.

Hello.
My sister recently got a burn on her inner forearm, about an inch and a half long, 1 centimeter wide from touching a hot skillet. It immediately blistered afterwards, but the next day, aout half of the blister was accidentally ripped off of her, leaving half of the burn exposed. She got the burn about 2 days ago, and we believe we have been treating it adequetely. Unfortunetly, looking at it today, it is obviously infected, because it has now become red and puffy around the area of contact. My question is, how exactally would we go about treating an infected burn, as to make the infection from spreading, and also to allow the burn to fully heal. Thanks a lot for your help, and a quick answer would greatly be appreciated.
Thank you.

I was wondering, what exactly is carpal tunnel, and is it possible to get it at 16? How serious is it? I use my hands ALOT, I spend at least an hour on a paino everyday, even 2 sometimes, and at least 2 hours a day on a computer typing, so I am always using them, but they are very weak, and I am always having trouble with them, if I lift more than 10 pounds, and don't hold the weight right, so that the weight is resting on my arms and not my wrist, they will hurt for 2 weeks after, and my Mom said it was possible that I might be getting carpal tunnel, and I was wondering how serious that was. Will that affect being able to play the paino?

I know it's Christmas, so many people may not be on here, but my dad has been having bad back problems for a long time. Most of the time it's fine, but every once in a while, it just goes out on him and he can barely walk. It's hard for me to see my dad in that much pain, and he's like that today...and it's Christmas. I tried helping him stretch his back, but I was just wondering if anyone knows of anything that will actually relieve him for the rest of the day...until he can get into a doctor or something tomorrow. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I don't want him to feel this way on Christmas. Thanks!

how do you feel when you take your glasses off
apart from ´i can´t see`
lol we all know that if not you wouldn't wear them at all

I personally wear contacts, but when I taken off I don't get a headache or anything, but I feel my eye muscles really, really tense, as if I couldn't really move my eyeballs comfortably.
That's just me , but maybe I'm crazy LOL

I've looked Sears, JC Penney and LensCrafters but none of them list what they charge for eye exam or if it is free with eye glass purchase (except JCP for $129 for 2 eyeglasses which is pricey for me and I only need one good pair). Thanks.
