I have been tested for chlamydia and i have it. Now i have been with my parter for over a year and about 6months ago we broke up and i did sleep wif someone else. Now the person i slept with we used a condom, Then me and my partner got back to gether and ever since we have been 2gether we have never used a condom. So i want to know is it possible i would have got it wen i had the one nite stand or is it more possible i have it frm my boy friend. Also if i did get it frm my boyfriend could i have had it for a while and not known or is it a std that u get pretty much straight away. If some one could answer my qu i would be so grateful.

Just some info:
Just because your partner got conjunctivitis (pink eye) doesn't mean he has chlamydia pink eye. The strain of bacteria that causes chlamydia pink eye is rare in the US and really is more common in Middle East Countries as well as Africa.
I have had pink eye in the past a few times, but I have been tested for std's and been negative so pink eye isn't always linked to std's.

You get chlamydia and pass it around. Often men have it and don't know they do because they are asymptomatic. Make your boyfriend go in with you to the doctor, both of you get your physical examinations and labwork done, and get your shared health problems resolved! Yes, you might have had chlamydia for a while, and you might have gotten it from your condom wearing partner. I wouldn't worry about where it came from- I would be more worried about getting it again. So keep that rascal of your boyfriend covered up until the health problems are resolved!

Chlamydia is an STD similar to gonnorrhea. It's a groin infection/inflammation. You can be cured with antibiotics.

Untreated cases often spawn pelvic inflammatory disease in women.

Most likely, you probably contracted it with the unprotected sex. Either, when you break up with someone and then get back together, just assume that that person has slept with someone else and use protection.

Good luck !

You got it from unprotected sex. That means your "boyfriend has it or will have it soon" Get thy self to a doctor soon . This is nothing to play with. Good luck Run do not walk to a doctor or clinic

Itis an STD, and incureable, and you could have gotten it from anyone anytime. Condoms lessen-but do not totally elliminate-the chance of getting/spreading such things. Test your bf. If he does not have it, you did not get it from him. How long it lay dormant/un-noticed is a variable thing...longer with some people, less long with others.

Chlamydia is a curable disease -- but your boyfriend needs to be tested and treated for it otherwise the two of you can and will reinfect each other.

Gee... I didn't know that chlamydia could also lead to being a lousy speller.
