i know i've asked this a lot but i need help! im 14 years old and havent strted my period! i kno its normal to not strt yt but i think the reason why i havent is because im worrying about it too much... could tht delay it?? what do i do to stop thinking about it? because i cant!

I'm going in for an eye exam tomorrow, and it's possible that they may want to dilate my eyes. I've never had it done before, so I'm not sure what to expect. What does it feel like, what will things look like, how long will it take to wear off, etc.? Also, I've heard tell of some people who've gotten sick or fainted from eye dilation drops...how common is this, and what are the risk factors for it happening?

Also, second question - I woke up in the middle of the night about a week ago (I sleep with my lights on, btw) and looked in the mirror for a moment, and my eyes were COMPLETELY dilated. I've never seen this happen before from waking up. Went near the light, and it took almost 10 minutes before they went small again. I've also heard of the pupils dilating when you die. Does this mean that I may have very almost nearly died that night?

I've been dating a guy for the past couple of months...very intense, since we were friends and coworkers before we starting dating. As we get closer, the depression he's battled in the past seems to become more of an issue. There are other complicating factors - work for him is incredibly challenging right now...he's having major difficulties with the team he manages and is feeling very attacked. He has trouble motivation, has no energy, and has wide mood swings (between happy and very not happy...luckily there is no anger in his swings). He's taking Cymbalta and says that the pills help him tremendously, but at the same time he sometimes blames the pills for making him feel the way he does.

Any tips for dealing or helping him? I really like this guy, and our connection seems very real and dynamic on several levels. I'm intimidated by this depression thing (never dealt with anything like it before), and am looking for any advice on how to deal! Thanks!

I got them out around 7 a.m., and its about 1a.m. now I cant swallow anything!, my mum gave me pops but they hurt when i swallow and my spit wont go down so i have to spit it in the sink, i even been given the pain med, and they arnt kicking in at all, when i drink water i end up throwing up, same with tylenol. Anything i swallow hurts soo bad even if its really soft...what should i do..Should i have my mom call the doctor and get stronger meds?, and i have gotten rest almost too much rest.

Okay, first of all, I'd like to say that my bellyfat is pretty average and I'm a fit and healthy boy. There's not much, but there still is a little belly fat (and some chest fat).

I've heard jogging really helps with this. I don't have many appliances or anything nearby to work with, so I rather not buy anything and use something I have, like my own two feet."

So, my questions are. When is the right time to jog? And how long should I jog? Does jogging even help? If it helps, how much does it help? Is there a more efficient way than jogging? Perhaps, swimming (I have access to a swimming pool everyday)?

I have sex with two guys before and they're experienced but I don't feel anything and I really want to. I am 14 years old and I am in the eighth grade and I have been getting head aches every day after 6th period science. And sometimes before that. Then I have to go to PE next with a headache! It is really not good! Why is this happening. I know that it is not from my science class though, but why? Also I have been having trouble sleeping. I will go to sleep and wake up in the next twenty minutes. Last night I even went to bed at only like 12 after complaining to my mom. Then I went t sleep, and woke up an hour later. This stuff is really annoying and this morning my eyes were half closed the entire time! Any ideas or something!!!

For a week, I have suffered from this burning feeling in my inner thighs (not legs but seems like veins). I also have noticed that I am suffering with a migraine for the same length of time. I am just about finished with taking the steroid, dexamethazone, and definately want to be. I don't like the side effects I have experienced while on it. Is the swelling anything I should be worried about or will it go away the longer I stay with the tapering. I have tapered down to .25 mgs. every other day for about 8 days now.........Thanks...........

I had a small procedure done today and the nurses and doctors were concerned about my resting heart rate before the procedure it was 52bpm after the procedure 48bpm I was told that, that is low and I should be going to my GP and having further tests done. I am wondering if this could be the cause of my constant fatigue? Has anyone else been through this? What could be causing it? I do exercise a lot and have noticed on the machines that my heart rate doesn't go up as high as it used to.

Earlier tonight I experienced a very strange, sudden wave of confusion which was followed by a ringing in my ears. I've also noticed that my lip is somewhat bitten . I'm pretty sure I was conscious the whole time and I am 100% sure I took my meds.

This is not my usual 'aura' (feeling I get before a seizure) and I've had 4 tonic-clonic / grand mal seizures starting last August.

Also, if I experience my 'aura' and I don't have a gran mal, does it mean I had a petit mal or just what does it mean?

Any advice is GREATLY apreciated. Thanks.

I just stopped taking Femcon 35/36 and just started taking Yaz for my ovarian cysts. My OB/GYN told me that Yaz will help with my weight, that it will help me lose a few pounds that the higher dose of my old pill put on. Will I get a lot of bloating or weight with Yaz? Is the lower dose pill just as effective as the higher dose pill?
