I just stopped taking Femcon 35/36 and just started taking Yaz for my ovarian cysts. My OB/GYN told me that Yaz will help with my weight, that it will help me lose a few pounds that the higher dose of my old pill put on. Will I get a lot of bloating or weight with Yaz? Is the lower dose pill just as effective as the higher dose pill?

I have talked to some women who have done Yaz and they said that they had good results with it.
When I did the Yasmin (the higher dose pill) for 6 months I lost nearly 10 lbs. I've met a few other women that had this occur as well.
From what I've heard others say about Yaz it is just as effective as Yasmin.
I would recommend checking with your doctor as well for further clarification.
