Time is the only thing that will take care of your problem. The younger you are the quicker the soreness will leave. I was an adult when mine were removed and I barely could swallow for four days. The good thing is I have never had a severe sore throat since they were removed. Hang in there relief is on it`s way.

The popsicles are good. You could try milk. I would wait for atleast more than 24 hours after your surgery to be assessing your pain becuase it will take that long for the IV drugs to fully wear off and the new ones to fully kick in. The pain is probably being cuased but the swelling thats going on which is making it hard to swallow. The reason you are vomitting is because the old drugs are leaving your system and the new ones are coming in and they are conflicting. If your still in this much pain and vomitting tomorrow go see a doctor.
