I went to have the one next to the back tooth pulled and he was having a hard time extracting it. When he finally got it out, and as I was in tears and shaking like crazy, he told me he "popped" the one next to it out too. I thought he was trying to make light of the situation at first, but he wasn't. Now I have 2 big empty spaces in my mouth. When I went to fill my prescription, he forgot to put my name on it and the pharmacy (and I) could not get ahold of the anyone at the office for hours. I went 6 hours without my pain medicine on top of everything else! I have always been terrified of the dentist and this is why. Everyone is telling me I shouldn't have paid and should sue. I am not the type to sue but I am very upset and hurt. Should I ? I would be happy with him simply paying for both my implants. Any suggestions on how to handle this situation?

Ok, someone just told me that I might have TMJ (on yahoo they told me). So I went and looked on google, and learned its a jaw disorder sort of thing...and all of the symptoms fit me. What should I do? Should I go to a dentist? If so, then what will they do? Give me braces or what?

I am a young teen, and as a kid, I slouched a lot and had horrible posture. Now that I stand up straight, there's a vertical line in the middle of my stomach from where it used to be rolls. I am very self-concious of it now, because it even shows up in pictures and videos. Since I have quite a while until someone will see me in a swimsuit again, I would like to try a slow, gradual fix. I don't have enough time to go to gyms during the week, so if anybody has any kind of quick and easy daily exercise techniques that can not necessarily make me lose weight, just flatten out my stomach a little bit, it will be very much appreciated! Thanks!!

I have had intermittent strabismus my whole life where the eye I don't use will cross inward. I'm 24 now. For most of my life the crossing was not very bad so it didn't bother me a lot. But over the past 3 years my right eye has become a lot more crossed and I have lost the ability to switch eyes without forcing it. My right eye stays crossed unless I force it to work by closing the left eye and gazing to the far right. This is too much work so I only use my left eye now.

I have an issue where surgery is not an option for me. I've gone to three different doctors and they all tell me there is nothing I can do to straighten my eyes besides surgery.

Is this really true?? There are no other ways?

I want the ones i can leave in for like a week.

I had an eye appointment like 2-3 months ago. Do i have to get a eye exam to get a different kind of contacts with the same script? I don't want to have to pay for another exam.

I am 14 and I hate taking them in and out...i can do it, but it sucks! It would be great to only have to put them in once a week.

i was playing basketball yesterdat,and me and my friend were running after the ball and we slammed into eachothers heads real hard,he hit me directly in the forehead and on the left side of my neck. That night i was dizzy and everytime i started looking around i felt like my eyes were crossing and i felt like caved in because of the way i was looking around. And now today i have a headache,my left ear hurts(above where i hit my neck)and i feel like i have the flue(but i took a flue shot before so i know i dont). BUt i was wondering if i had a concussion,or if i was showing symptoms of one. Im 16 years old.
o yea and when i got hit i saw like a bunch of colorful lines,its happend before but this time lines where like everywhere,it lasted for like a split second

On Aug 1 my husband had laparscopy gall bladder removal ( 3 point incision) he was sent home in as perfect to be expected condition. but he has been living in hell since. he cant work, cant sit or stand or walk for more the 15 min at a time. he is in tremendeous pain all the time. has trouble breathing. his stomache is incredably swollen...cant even put on his shoes. they cant find whats wrong. the have done xrays labs cortazone shots..the whole 9 and yet everything is "normal" he had a CT scan today but we wont have results for a few days. im racking my brain trying to stay on top of the doctors...i just dont believe that this is ok. he has no quality of life anymore and the whole family is suffering. does anyone have a similar story or any ideas of what they may be able to look for next? please help!

About a week ago, my knees felt like that locked up during "activities" with my hubby, and I since have not done anything like that, but yesterday my knee on my left side started hurting, and today i woke up with it aching so bad it hurts to bend it at all, if I sit down I literally cannot lift my knee upwards, stairs are really excruciating, and now the pain in radiating up into my thigh and my hip hurts! Ok, well, it's retarded, but I REALLLY want braces, but i have pretty good teeth, and everyone says I don't need them...I have an overbite, (not a HUGE one, but just an overbite I guess...lol)

My shoulders, neck, and jaw is stiff so I went to my doctors and he said I had a shot 2 years ago. The next day I went to the hospital and the doctor said I should be fine cause the wound wasn't red. What can cause stiffness if I had my shots or could it just be stress? What else can I do?

My daughter is 19, her dentist noticedc last year that her impacted wisdom teeth needed to be removed but didn't tell her until this year. All 4 are impacted.We've had a consult with an oral surgeon, who told us he'd use general anesthesia. My daughter was born with a hole in her heart. It has since closed up and she has palpitations and is under a cardiologists care.She's worried as I am , after seeing all of these plastic surgery nightmares, plus the fact that the oral surgeon told me, in front of my daughter, that 'there are always risks'.OMG, that terrified us both. The date of her surgery is Dec 28 and she's worried already, Christmas will be a disaster.I mean, she faints over blood being drawn. I'm scared for her. Any advice? The doc mentioned laughing gas, she cannot have any epi .Do you know of anything that could work besides general?I know I have a fib, a heart condition and I cannot have general.HELP!
