I have chronic depression. Last week I came off Lexapro after 2 years and onto Lovan / Prozac which as far as I can tell has NOT kicked in. I am depressed teary bascially cant work, everything irritates me, Im bitchy and hostile. I cant keep going like this...How long til the Lovan works? I think I am experiencing the withdrawal from Lexapro... so Im thinking I should just go back onto the Lexapro... but what if the Lovan kicks in and will eventually make me better than the Lexapro did? I dont know what to do......If anyone has experiences with these two medications please share.... the world has collapsed on me.

ok, i just took a bath and my two cute little pimples popped... that happened yesterday too...my pimple appeared 3 days before...im worried to morrow if its still or gonna be there again...really white!

thats embbarasing, coz im going to arizona tommorrow early morning...what should i do?
(oh yeah, is this because of the climate here? im in alaska...and its so dry and cold here...as in no moisture!)

I found out I have ovarian cancer last year. Although my family visited me in the hospital and I recovered at my mother's home, no one mentions it. They don't ask me about my follow up tests, how I feel, my emotional state etc. If I bring it up there's an uncomfortable, silent moment until someone changes the subject. I understand it's them hiding in their comfort zone but I would have loved to have someone hold me when I was crying and screaming from fear. I feel that I have to have polite face on to keep them comfortable. My oncologist went back to Philly and I really feel alone now. Has anyone had this happen?
When you have family should you have to find strangers to relate?
My cancer is in remission so I guess you can't have everything right?

I visited a friend in mexico for a couple of weeks and while I was there I went to the dentist. After the procedure, my jaw locked and the dentist was trying to push it back in place. I was able to close my mouth but now, everytime I open my mouth, there is a temporal pain on the left side of my head. The pain is pretty much on the entire left side of my head. I looked online and they said that lockjaw could be associated with tetanus. Is this pain normal, or did I get a bacterial infection at the dentist? I had my tetanus shot a very long time ago. PLEASE HELP I'm so worried. Thank you in advance.

i have so much anger within me and i cry all the time mourning the death of my mother. its getting impossible at times. at first i was ok because i knew she was relieved from the pain but now i just miss her and feel scared and empty and helpless. i feel every1 understands what im going through but noone does and i feel i am being annoying to people around me and i know i will always feel this pain and maybe it will be less but right now its really bad.

I get fusterated easy... Im a 19 male. Does anyone know what to do or is there anything that helps STOP bein fusterated at the time... if anyone that goes through it must know what im talking about.

I have a chipped front tooth where a filling cracked off overt a year ago. I've been using Dent-temp to cover it and have to re-apply every few days. I brush and rinse with mouthwash and warm water before re-applying, but I;m starting to feel a twinge on the tooth now and then. Now here is my question.... It's been two years since my last dental visit because of no insurance and I was broke.. I don't want to go back to my old dentist, he's too busy, he hurries and this is the second time the filling broke off. But every other dentist I've been to wants me to get X-rays, a cleaning or scaling, a check-up etc, BEFORE he fixes the front tooth. I have a new job and my dental kicks in in March, so I would rather have the insurance pay for all that other stuff. Can't a dentist just fix my front tooth for now and I'll go back in April for the rest? And how much should it cost me to fix the front tooth with no insurance?

My husband(33) has spinal stenosis but he always says that it hurts in his right knee, and the worst thing is that now he doesn't want kids because he thinks its heriditary. Also, it can make it hard to have sex when he is having a flare up, any ideas or should i just snuggle up with him and tell him how much i love him and want him to be ok, he says thats better then vicoden

I am very sensitive to drugs. I have a prescription filled twice a year for alprazolam (generic for xanex). The prescription I filled a month ago, does not help/work at all. It's like placibo. I know the medication still works for me because I had a few left from last time. When I take a 1/2 of one of those, it works just fine. I don't where to begin....do I go back to the doctor & explain to him or do I go to the pharmacist & explain to them. Thank you for your input.

Ok, I asked this question before but people took it the wrong way just agreeing that for the most part that they use Trojans, but didnt say which kind they use and trust - they have many kinds...I use the ENZ - anyone else use those? i have heard both good and bad about them - otherwise which ones to you use? me and my cousin were wrestling and she elbowed me in my nose really bad and like upwards. it started bleeding and it swelled up pretty bad. i instantly got a head ache. i took some ibuprofen and put an ice pack on it....and it still hurts!!! and i can breath good out of my last nostril....and it hurts to inhale too..... what could be wrong with it??? it hurts like hel*!!!! what should i do to make it feel better? it's pretty bad

I have always slept on my stomach but I was just recently pregnant so I had to sleep another way.

Pregnant women can't lay flat on their backs as all the baby weight presses on an artery (vein? well, blood vessel!).

It is hard to stay laying on your side without putting a pillow or something under your baby belly or you kind of end up rolling on to it and that hurts you (the baby is actually fine because they are surrounded but so much fluid and muscle and stuff it is painful for mom!). I spent the last handful of months on the sofa since it allowed me to kind of mush thing around so I could get sort of comfortable.

Now that the babies out I am sleeping on my tummy again but when I wake up to her cries my arms are sleep!

I lost weight (24 pounds) while I was pregnant so it isn't weight gain.

We have a great mattress and a memory foam thing on the bed.

So all this leaves me wondering what is the healthiest way to sleep.

For the past four days I've been having terrible chest pains. My chest feels congested and I feel as if I can't breathe. I've gone to the doctors twice since Tuesday, and they can't seem to figure out what's wrong with me. I had an ECG done and it came back normal. My blood pressure and cholesterol are normal too.

When I was at the doctors last I forgot to tell them that that about a week before I had chest pains, I was having very bad cramps and was running to the bathroom at least twice a day. I still am. And I've never really replaced the water I've lost.

I looked up symptoms of dehydration tonight and everything I seem to be feeling matches up exactly. It said that if I was having difficulty breathing and having chest pains I should seek help immediately. What should I do? Doctors offices are closed now. Should I go to the hospital? Wait until morning? I've already had pains in my chest for days.

I don't have diabetes.

Everything can be so down that it drives me to SI and then it can go to normal and then it can go to me bouncing off the walls and not being able to focus on anything...

It seems I get major mood swings sometimes, it is weird. Today at work I was in a decent normal mood for a while and then the last 3-4 hours I was there I just get this burst of energy, can't keep still, can't focus on my work at all, even worse than usual. But still with lots of anxiety, like wanting to scream 'cause I am trapped in this state that I can't do anything to fix it.

Maybe it is from trying to hide my true emotions, I had this moment at work where things kinda hit me and I was just really down. Then someone asks me what is wrong so I say "nothing" and cover it up, then like 20 minutes later the anxiety and bounciness comes in.
