CONGRATULATIONS! i remember when i first started i was so shy to tell my parents i wrote them a note and gave it to them lol...hey it beats telling em...but well there is no use teling him if its gonna stress you out, there is no stores open at night anyway and you can always wait until tomorrow till a stores open for the night, you can either use an old wash cloth and fol dit up and lay it on top of your panties like a regular pad, or you can use toilet paper and fold it up also, until the morning, make sure and put an old cloth or something underneath you to prevent from leaks getting onto your beadsheets

Don't you have a convenience mart aka gas station that sells other things inside near you??? Certainly there is something open at 10:40 at night as that is not late at all. Just tell your dad that you need to run to the store for some personal items and ask him to drive you. He will get the drift and understand.

If you're not ready to tell him yet (at 10:40 at night), then take a towel, cut it up into a thick strip, and put it on top of your underwear. Put it in a plastic bag and throw it away tomorrow morning...and keep doing this untill you can get pads! Its perfectly higenic. But honestly, a 24 pharmacy or wal-mart MUST be open...Hope you can figure out a way to tell him though, I really don't know what to tell you about that!

OMG honey, im sorry. Do you not have a super wal-mart around? Surley there is a 24 hour convient store. I was with my dad when I started for the first time and I just told him. This is just a fact of life and it sucks that it happened now but he will understand. So just tell him. Or you could call a female that you have in your life. Anyone should understand.

Dads are a lot more understanding than you would think. They know what is going on, I promise. He will feel really awkward, and not know what to say, but you don't need to tell him it's your first time. Just tell him you need some 'women's things' from the store, and I am sure he will take you there.
Trust me, he's not clueless. I have a dad AND a husband, and whether they like it or not, they know what's going on.

Your dad is not a little kid. Its time to grow up. Just tell your dad its "that time of the month" and you need to go to the store. Trust me you dont want the first time around to be messy..... you dont knwo what you are expecting yet.
Your dad is well aware of whats going on. Also, he is MORE uncomfortable with this than you probably... but he is not going ot make you feel weird.

It's kind of hard to tell a parent, but in a situation like this I think your dad will be able to help you out. You should be able to get pads at a grocery store... many of them are open late at night.

Congratulations. Now if it is bothersome and you don't want to use toilet paper tonight tell your dad. I'm sure he is aware of periods. I think he is old enough to respect that. Walmart is open this time of night.
