How do you sharpen a knife?? i know that you have to buy that thing to do it but isnt there another way for it?

by rubbing it against other knife's blade.
stones work too.
but be careful, either way.

wow... if you cant figure out how to sharpen a knife and are looking for a way to do it without a sharpener then maybe you should get someone else to do it... you dont sound like you should be messing with knives
