There is a tea called Throat Coat Tea. It is usually in the tea isle. Add a little honey to it and it helps a bit. If you can't find that, sometimes cammomile with some honey provides a little relief. Feel better.

At the first signs of a sore throat my mom tells me to gargle out with peroxide about three times. My sister always says gargle out with salt and hot water. I have recently started trying that ColdEze at the first signs of a cold, but Thera-Flu is always a sure thing for me.

crush and dissolve two aspirin in a 8 ounce glass of warm salt water (2 to 3 tablespoons of salt) and gargle with it.
It tastes nasty but it helps.

lemons lemons and more lemons... extract fresh lemon juice into mug, warm it in microwave then add as much honey as you need for you to get that lemon juice down... It tastes good and kills an infection if its what you have... Its what I do... I have no insurance and it works everytime!
