He has all the reasons to be depressed though. He made a big step to quit his job about 6months ago to start his own business. The bizz is going bad now, and he lost all his money. It's all complicated but he is SO down on himself. He wont eat or sleep and is overly stressed. Anybody who can relate, please some advise for my man, some meds maybe? He refuses to go to the doctor. thanks in advance

I have bipolar and she is extremely unsupportive and she mocks me all the time. She's pretty much rude to me all the time and gives me the cold shoulder or ignores me if I say something. Like now for instance. She said that she didn't believe in that ~spiritual~ crap, but she believe in Karma. But then I said: "Karma is spiritual since it's from a religion... Hinduism" But then she's like: "no, it's not..." And I said: "Well, you said that it wasn't, I'm just saying..." And then she starts yelling at me. She's so ridiculous. She complains about me all the time. I pretty much hate her the majority of the time and she always messes up my day. She finds a way to make me feel bad for myself, saying I need to go on a diet, but then saying that I'm fine, but then saying that I need to loose 20lbs when I'm a size 6. GOD. This woman. She's a narcissistic.

She also doesn't believe that I'm bipolar either, even though I have had two opinions from psychologists and a psychiatrist.

soo lately ive been getting headaches frequently..their in my left frontal lobe..ive also been having alot of pressure in my ears..i thought i may be getting a head cold soon but havent...and also my tonsils have been bothering me which they always tend to during the cold season..but anyway i thought all of these things were seperate problems im having but im wondering if anyone else has any thing like this..which maybe they are all caused by one thing...? any ideas let me knowww! =) thankss!!

Lithium carbonate is the standard drug to treat bipolar disorder and once you're diagnoised with it, you take it the rest of your life. No one knows for sure why lithium works, but it does. But its bad for the liver. Is there ever a case where an individual after many years without a relapse, is declared "cured" and no longer needs to take his medication?

I am 5'3 and 143 pounds. If I eat 1700 cals a day and burn 500 cals a day wil I lose weight?

I feel no other recourse than to do just that. This is due to problems I have had in the last 14 months with two locations based in California, and the Curves Corporate Office based in Texas, not stepping in to assist in the dispute by forcing them to abide by the rules of their franchises.
The problems range from charging my credit card for two months in a row after I transfered my membership from one location to another, to claiming that my documents in my personal file were shredded, and allowing the manager to probe information from other staff employees about me as a member based on private conversations I may have had with them.
Has anyone had to file a similar lawsuit and what was your outcome? Can I sue in Small Caims Court for not only my membership dues partial refund as well as for wages lost from time taken off work?
Thanking you all in advance for your help and advice. I NEVER would have joined any Curves if I had known how poorly they are run and monitored.

Have been sick for a few months. Bleeding rectally and vaginally. Drs are being secretive. Had colonoscopy, lower GI followed by UGI, small bowel series today. What does cancer look like on an xray? Is it gray with lines, all white, or dark? Any websites that anyone knows to research this myself? Im getting frustrated. Thank you for all the help...to everyone that has answered my questions.

My stomach tends to growl a lot in my class before lunch. It's sorta loud that the person in front of me can hear it. And if your asking if I eat breakfast yes! I do! I eat a big bowl of cereal! It still growls so is there something I can do to prevent it?

I had a boil (i'm pretty sure) for about a week and a half and it popped two days ago. it left a hole (about as wide as a q-tip)and a rather large cavity under the hole. is this normal? and would it be safe to put astringent on/in it? i need to dry it out somehow.

problems. whenever someone talked about there medical condition or complaint about some illiness she always take over the conversation saying she has the same complaint only it 10 times worst. she even goes so far as to make up sickness such as cancer or anything else she can think of. Actually the most thing i ever loved on this planet is my gf and I'd do anything for her

My grandmother is 66 and has been suffering with a variety of illnesses. The possible symptoms are: severely enlarged spleen, leg numbness (possible neuropathy from diabetes,) leg swelling (sometimes severe), mini stroke, increased appetite, fatigue/energy loss, short term memory loss (can't remember a phone call five minutes previous), indigestion, severe hot flashes, occasional diarrhea, some sort of foot fungus, and pulmonary edema. Other conditions she's had/has included congestive heart failure, diabetes, OCD, and anxiety/panic attacks. She's been tested for both anemia and leukemia, both results negative. She gets frequent blood transfusions, and even though she has O+ blood, it's difficult to find a match due to some abnormality with her antibodies.

Any ideas are extremely appreciated. Her doctors have been less than helpful thus far and I'm hoping someone out there can figure out what's wrong and help her. Thank you

It seems like around a week before my period, I have insatiable sexual urges and I start fantasizing about it and the smell and the feel of his warmth about drive me crazy. What is the cause of this?
