I have been taking estrostep for a little over a year but this past month i have not been consistant with the time I take my pill and have missed doses completely. I have recently been feeling depressed, am always in a bad mood, and cry ALOT. Has anyone experienced this?

Hi all,

Not sure what my odds are of having some sort of med professional answer this but here goes. i have been to 3 doctors and they are saying i have symptoms of allergies. However, whatever I take does NOT work. My throat is ticklish so I cough all the time, I have a lot of nose congestion and mucus (no weird coloring, thank god) and post nasal drip. I have tried Sudafed, Alka Seltzer, Robitussin, and now Claritin.I also got a prescrition for Flonase two days ago. Also, when I touch the sides of my throat (like right under the base of my jawline, my glands are very sore).

I seriously cannot take this agony anymore...this has been going on for 9 days now. Any thoughts? Something more serious or am I just overreacting? Should I just wait it out?

Has anyone else experienced this?? Thanks.

I have bipolar and the doctor didn't diagnose me, my therapist did. I only worked with the casemanager for 5 months, but the one I had before that testified cuz she worked with me for 4 years before she quit. My lawyer wants the new casemanager to testify. She feels she doesn't know me well enuf to do it, but I told her to read my file some more and she said that's not good enuf. She said she'd have to be subpooena-ed. I'm afraid she'll mess up my chances of getting SSI. It's bad enuf I have different diagnoses from both my dr and therapist. The dr thinks I only have severe depression, narcisstic personality disorder, impulse control disorder, and some diagnosis that starts with an H about losing sense of reality...

Okay, I've been having a pain in my upper abdominal area, It's been off and on for a good while, like at least 1-2 mths. Sometimes it the pain makes me want to gag, or short of breath sometimes. I get hungry but as soon as i take a bite of my food I get fool, or dont have an apetite. I've been working alot, stressed sometimes, i eat 2-3 meals a day, i never eat breakfast though.

I have been coughing constantly for the past two days. I have bronchitis, have been to the dr, and been put on cough medicine that isn't really working. All the coughing gives me a horrible headache, kills back, neck, and diaphragm, and has me almost crying afterwards because of the pain. I normally have a very high pain tolerance, but I feel horrible. I'm sick, coughing, can't talk, and achey. What can I do for the pain?

I'm 25. I am such a light sleeper. I cannot sleep with ANY noise present...if I hear someone talking in the next room (not even loudly), it distracts me and I can't sleep. My apartment is one the third floor, and if I hear someone talking in the parking lot, it wakes me up. The worst comes if I want to spend the night with my boyfriend. He snores, and I absolutely CANNOT fall asleep with that, and if I finally do, I can't stay asleep. Same when I travel with friends and share a hotel room.

When noise happens when I want to sleep, I feel myself getting very irritated/aggitated. I can only focus on the sound. And I can't sleep.

I'm at my wits end. I don't want this to continue; if I get married at some point I don't want to have to sleep in another room.

I don't want to take sleeping pills if at all possible. I'm just wondering if anyone has a similar problem and if anything as helped you. Any helpful suggestions are welcome. This really impairs my life, and I'm sick of it.

last christmas my boyfriend went in for an MRI and they found a major blood clot in his head. they said it was applying pressure to the brain and htat it would rupture so he needed emergency brain surgery. he came home on christmas day adn went in to the hospital on the 22nd so it was relativly quick but to this day it stilll really upsets me. i even cry about it still. i've tried to talk to him about it and that doesn't even help. he needs to go in for jaw surgery soon but it scares me even more because of the frightning experiance i had the last time. please help me on dealing witb this.

Basically I've been treated for depression for a little over a year. Before that I had been depressed for 10 yrs. I graduated H.S. Salutatorian and had top grades. I went to college where the depression really hit. I left college hoping to "fix" my problem and return. The depression got worse and I ended up shutting myself off from life for 4 years. I was terrified of working, thinking I couldn't do anything right (no confidence/self esteem). I then returned to college, got a degree in journalism and then began to look for work. Despite having excellent grades and the degree, finding meaningful work has been a major challenge. I used to suffer from severe social anxiety but am better. I have had several interviews that went very well, but never get the job (even entry level).
My question is should I explain the "missing" yrs on my resume? Should I explain that depression is what has held me back? How do depressed shy people ever get decent jobs?

I know this maybe sounds dumb.....but is it possible? I have been trying my hardest between work, a kindergartner, a 4 yr old, and daily activities to go to the gym. I am on a goal of losing 20 pounds and increasing tone muscle. I love to work out, but i feel so useless sitting at my desk at work behind a computer all day. Is there a way to get excercise while sitting at my desk without totalling weirding everybody out at the office? PLEASE GIVE ME SOME TIPS IF THERE ARE ANY!!!
