I'm 27 years old and I cannot imagine a day I'll be comfortable in my own skin. I'm sick of feeling this way. I have taken therapy in the past and I have dieted and exercised, etc., etc. Nothing helps me!!!!!! Nothing! I'm so incredibly self conscious about my body. My boyfriend is sick of me putting myself down and so is everyone else. But I can't help it. I really wish I loved myself more. Everyone tells me I'm crazy for calling myself fat, but I feel like they say that just to make me feel better. I don't know what to do. I have been told by everyone that it's all in my head and that I am "beautiful" but I feel like it's 100% a crock of you know what!!!!

I bought some calcium supplement (from GNC) for my mom and I want to send it to Vietnam. Does anyone know if I can send it through normal USPS mail? Will the Vietnamese customs let it through? The cost of mailing is no problem.

My mom really likes yoga after reading so much about it from books she bought, and she would really like to try it some time. However, the problem is that she had undergone kidney transplant, which sort of complicates things. Therefore would yoga be appropriate for people that have undergone kidney transplant, and if it is, what postures are to be avoided, or can be done?

for 3 days now, I have suffered from extreme nausea and weight loss. I have lost 19 pounds in a week. I also have been passing black blood clots in my stool. I know I need to see a doctor, and will try to do that tomorrow, but until then, would like ideas on what this could be. I recently had a baby and was given adipex to help lose weight, but I obviously don't need it anymore. I am so lethargic that the adipex doesn't even help. I pretty much sleep all day with the new baby. Any ideas?

my roommates at the time never came to visit once and we had all been friends and spent time together almost everyday before then. To me it was a slap in the face. Would this piss someone off if it had happened to them? I would be there for my friend every step of the way and in more recent events I have had roommates who have visited me if I had to go in the hospital. I guess I take it as a personal hit when your own friends dont show. I dunno let me know what you think. Thank you.

My son has asthma/allergies, and now his doctor is wanting to diagnose him with ADHD. I have been told that his medications for the asthma/allergies could be causing some hyperactivity and such..Does anyone know if there is any truth in that? I have tried to find an answer on line but have had no luck in doing so! Also, if any of you have a child with asthma/allergies, does your child have 8 perscriptions for this? I feel that my doctor could be OVER medicating my son. If anyone has any answers to this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My doctor advised me to start taking broccoli extract. I have been, but the pills smell horrible (sort of like rotting garbage)and give me indigestion. Everytime I burp, i taste the the awfullness. I want to stop taking them, but i also want to see if they will benefit me the way my doctor says. Are there any pills that are odorless and/or tasteless? Anybody who has experience with this, i would love for you to convince me that this is a good thing, lol. Thanks!

I have acute back problems due to stress and weight issues.
A friend suggested that I try massage therapy as it can help release the muscles and realign some bones. Does massage therapy realign bones in addition to relaxing tightened muscles? I thought chiropractors or doctors were the only ones capable of helping with misalignments? To clarify, I'm asking about ACTUAL massages, not the "dark side" massages.

For anyone who suffers from it, did/do you find it difficult, if not impossible, to give anything to a relationship? Do you feel that you have nothing to offer, and cannot give yourself to someone in a relationship? If so, why do/did you feel that you were not giving enough? Is it just a result of lack of emotional energy?

My ex is the one going through this, although we have little communication because I want to let him have his space. We've been apart for about 7 months now, but I still really care for him and worry. I've told him time and time again that I am always here for him if he needs anyone to talk to or listen, let him know that I care and encouraged him to get help. Should I continue to keep in light contact with him every once in a while? You know, just send an email or something letting him know that I care and am thinking about him? Or have I done enough, all that I can do, and should I just step back and let him come to me? I don't want him to feel I've abandoned him

I had tonsilitis last week, it got better. they're still a bit swollen, but not very sore. this morning i woke up because something was on the back of my tongue, & it was that dangly thing! It's all sore, and swollen, and bigger than normal. it kinda gets in the way of talking, and it sometimes hits my gag-reflex.
what is that thing?
what's going on with it?!?!?
HELP!
thank you!!!

I am currently on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. While in my OBGYN's office I was reading up on the new Essure as opposed to tubal ligation as a permanent birth control. Are you using this method or know anyone who has? What was their experience?

thank you :-)
