I dont want to take a whold ambien becuase I dont want a dependency. I should say I am on chemotherapy drugs as well which administer steroids to keep the nausea down. I figure the ambien had a greater chance of having a depencendy than red wine. What do you think? Age 53, male, light drinker.

My mom is 42 and she just found out today that she has herpes. I know I can't catch it, but is it really okay to let her use my bath room? What about drinking after her or eating after her? I know it sounds bad but its kinda grossing me out. Any advice would be great.

I want to be able to be more natural in conversation, because I'm always tense and I have to think over my words three times to make sure I won't offend anyone. I'm always worried about what people who don't even notice me will think of me, I'm extremely tense ALL the time, I can't even have a normal conversation with my friends anymore because I have to think and think over what I'm about to say.

I'm overtly analytical, and while sometimes this is a good trait, it's getting in the way of even speaking sometimes. I don't trust anyone at face value and I'm continuously worried over little things that will never happen.

I think WAY too much about things that might happen and it stops me from being spontaneous or, well, fun.

I want to be more comfortable, relaxed in public, when speaking, even when I'm just thinking. Is there any way?

From the Lexapro website: "Lexapro is well tolerated by most people. The most commonly reported side effects of Lexapro are nausea, insomnia, problems with ejaculation, somnolence, increased sweating, fatigue, decreased libido, and anorgasmia. Most of the side effects experienced by patients taking Lexapro are mild to moderate and go away with continued treatment, and usually do not cause patients to stop taking Lexapro."

Did you experience a decreased libido? If so, how much did it drop and did it come back as you continued on the drug. I know this is pretty hard to measure. My wife says it has killed hers and we have basically stopped. Seems kind of extreme but possible I guess.

I have some tenderness but no visible discoloring or rash around a patch of skin on my right upper thigh. This has been going on for about 5 days. After doing some internet research, I think I might be one of the millions of people who have some form of herpes but do not know it due to very mild, almost symptomless recurrences. I have linked my skin tenderness to a possible herpes infection but I can't find any hard information on a typical recurrence's duration. Does anyone know how many days a herpes recurrance lasts?

I'm just wondering if there are any Alexander Technique teacher-trainees (or even serious students) on here. If so, would you guys be interested in exchanging emails and stuff about what you're experiencing in your classes or lessons?

Just curious. :)

My husband and I and just invited one of his friends to come and live with us....Little did we know that he has tested positive for the Herpes Virus! I don't want to judge him for his life choices, but I am horrified at the fact that he had been sharing our bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) our dishes, computer, and has played with my son a lot! Oh yeah I have a son who is 7 months old, and he takes baths in the same shower, as well as my husband and I. Does anyone know if we could get the virus through sharing these things! Please help me, im mortified and scared to death!

I feel like I am not getting enough air into my lungs lately, this has only been happening today and yesterday. I don't know what is wrong, but I have been having a little obsession with air freshener at the beginning of the week, I didn't inhale it or anything, lol, I just was spraying all over the house constantly so our home will smell good, would that have anything to do with this? What do you think could be wrong??

regarding controlling the pain. I use to take OxyContin and Dilaudid daily. However, after getting off of the medicine, I really do not want to begin taking OxyContin again, because of the dependence it causes on your body.
My Doctor recently prescribed Opana, but I was allergic to that. Meds like darvocet and percocet and lortab have absolutely no effect on me.
I have also had a spinal cord simulator implanted only to have it removed a year latter as I helped none.
Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. There are days that I am ok (pain scale 5), however other days like today, I am in a level (9.5) and am getting no relief.
I can't go to the hospital every single time this happens for IV Dilaudid, so I am hoping for help from anyone who has this experience.
Thank you in advance.
