I think it must be because this documentary I saw the other night said that personalities are hereditary, and we start to develop personalities when we're in the womb.

But if this gene isn't passed on to you, but you grow up with someone who has OCD that's mild - moderate and undiagnosed, can it make you develop OCD more easily?

One of my gums, on the bottom of my bottom row of teeth is brown and a little puffy. I noticed that whole end of gum lining hurts when I brush it in the morning. Is it because I was too coarse with my toothbrush and irritated that area?

It's not cancerous is it?

When I run my tongue on that piece of gum (don't mean to be semi-graphic), it is puffed up and in the mirror it is now brownish.

Can I treat this myself?

i have these pimples on my vagina, some i can pop, and some are really big and they are really painful.
at the moment there are about 19 small ones and 3 really BIG ones. they really hurt and im scared ive got a deseas.,
im 13 and i havent had sex or any sexual contact with another person.
i really dont want to go to the doctors, but i told my mum and she said they will go away but they arent!
i wash everyday and clean my vagina so keep all the nasty bacteria out.
sometimes i have ingrown hairs under the pimples
and they really hurt.

For the past week i have been having some discomfort and mild pain right in the middle of my chest or on the right side of my chest. The first type usually occurs when i am lying down or sitting. Like there is some pressure in the middle of my chest and i also feel my heart beating hard.

The second type on the right side of my chest but still close to the middle, is different. There is discomfort when i breathe, especially when i exhale. I don't experience both at the same time but both cause my heart to beat or palpitate harder than usual.

I'm guessing this has something to do with my heart since it makes my heart palpitate and i am also a heavy smoker, I smoke 2 or three packs a day and have one beer with dinner.

My mom makes me eat a lot cuz i had an eating disorder before and i only grew 2 cm. but i dont wan t to get fatter.but she says that i have to so i can be taller. is there any way to get taller without getting fatter, and she doesnt let me play a lot of sports.

Thinking of myself and how often I need to shave (I could get away with shaving my legs every other day - under arms I do every day). If my boyfriend shaves in the morning he's already scruffy again come late evening. Does it just have to do with testosterone/hormones? Is it normal for men to need to shave twice a day?

I think lots of dentists have a hidden agenda - to do a marginal job so customers have to go back again and again. In some situations, filling problem turns into root canal case etc so they get more money/work.

I'm not saying all dentists are bad but I'm really losing faith.

I had 5 filling done last year with composite at a local dentist chain. One year later all fillings have either fallen, dislodged, or chipped which has been causing me uneasiness and pain. I went back to another dentist working for the chain a week ago cos friend of mine said he was good.

He took out the dislodged filling and filled the tooth. It has been very sensitive to cold stuff, even tap water. It's also quite sore to chew on. I was waken up by it the second night after so I went back to him but he said it was common after filling and basically told me to "toughen up".

I also got very sensitive/painful gum once in a while after eating which is so irritating.

Could someone explain? Thank you
