Whilst playing for my local rugby side recently, I took a severe blow to my nose which has damaged the piece of cartilage beetween my nostrils they have deviated from being in a centre position and now bend permanently to one angle.

It's quite painful and I'm having difficulty breathing out of the damaged side of my nose. Having spoken with my GP they said there is nothing they can do for me, my nose is fine and is completly straight, I seem to think otherwise can you give me any info or any advice on what to do next as I'm really quite genuinly in pain and feel let down.

Thank-you

I know the best thing is to see a therapist, and perhaps even have a perscription...but that can be expensive, and where I live there are no licensed therapists available. It is possible to get generic prescriptions over the counter though (I will be living in Egypt) Basically, if anyone knows anything about clinical depression (it comes and goes in epidodes but when I am depressed it is horrible and effects those that I love around me)...what is the best method of control???

I would like to join a gym. Would you recommend joining a gym where I can take group classes, or one where I would be on my own? What should I look at when choosing a gym?

Do men middle aged+ still masturbate? Or does this act become too shameful for the average man once he reaches middle age? I guess I've got the same question about women too.

Thanks.

I went to the eye doctor this morning for a comprehensive exam, mainly to see if I needed glasses (which of course i do). The doctor stated that I had drusen and diagnosed me with macular degeneration. I have googled and googled but I guess I am not clearly understanding simple things. I need statistics like how many people will actually go blind, can I retard the progression and for how long...And did I mention that I am only 40? I am struggling right now with what did I do to cause this. Any and all help appreciated.

Is there a way for me to eat food and not have it hurt in the end?

I am a fullback in football, and yesterday during a scrimmage I nailed a nerve in my elbow which still hurts, my right groin is killing me and my left hamstring hurts badly.

I have taken many hot baths, stretched, and have Myroflex on it now. Practice is at 6:00 and its 2:40 now. Should I take aspirin? Should I put on more myroflex. It hurts to run and I don't wanna look bad today.

I'm getting my industrial pierced (barbell gauge 14 through the upper part of my cartilage and then going through the lower part of my cartilage). What numbing techniques do they typically use if any? How badly does it hurt? I've gotten my earlobes pierced, but the cartilage seems like it would hurt a lot more. Especially seeing as it would be a 14 gauge barbell going through 2 parts of it.
